Pretty sure Gausman has credited the Reds for fixing him. Pitched out of the bullpen, dropped his crappier pitches in favor of the fastball/split, saw immediate success
Sounds like a solid dude, willing to learn and to understand difficult styles of hitting. Also seems willing to put in a s*** ton of work.
Hard to be upset with the hire, hopefully he can help the Jays find success
NLCS was pretty underwhelming overall. I think I read that last night was the first game that actually had a lead change.
ALCS was pretty electric though I wish it would’ve gone on longer.
The early rounds were pretty f***ing good.
Hoping for at least a 6 game series for the finals here. Need to cap off an epic postseason with some all-time hits.
Is that not what a pitcher is trying to do when they pitch?? Trying to pick a location to get the batter out. I think Bibee was a bit too greedy with trying to get Stanton and he clearly missed his spot by a mile. Should have been ok with walking him there, you don’t give him anything to hit with a base open and Jazz coming up who’s been ice cold.
Soto fine, but Stanton there was 0 reason to throw a hittable pitch.
Im allowed to criticize these players lol what do you think this is, its a f***ing message board for discussing ball.
Get over yourself
2nd time in the game that Guardians pitchers f***ed up. Should’ve thrown low and away to Stanton, pitch ended up middle-low. Fastball to Soto should have been a lot higher and out of the zone.
Plus the botched force out in the 10th.
Mistakes mistakes
You mean the changeup he kept fouling off?? Nah man, Soto is elite. He was not going to strikeout there.
Agree he should not have thrown Soto high cheese though. Stupid pitch
Goddamn Soto is gooood and clutch. You could see a big hit coming during that at bat, he had Gaddis timed up.
Cleveland doesn’t deserve to win the series based on errors and stupidity
