    If there’s 1 clear area of weakness with this front office, its that they are a bit too risk-averse. All those teams needed just a bit more of a push, and could’ve been something special. Lets just hope we aren’t sitting here on the last day of the season, 1 game out of a playoff spot, and wishing we had done just a bit more to strengthen the roster.

    Sorry but I doubt it. Last time there was a Vlad bobblehead we went 2 hours early and missed it. Really depends what gate you get and if security is actually watching people that try to cut the line

    Its just so frustrating to feel like the roster is 90% there, and the front office/ownership refuses to get the finishing pieces. Maybe saving money/payroll space to add at the deadline? Might be out of it by then though, who knows

    Turnbull would be nice. 1 more injury to the rotation and we are kinda f***ed ATM. Have to assume Scherzer will be batting injury for 50% of the season

    1 more depth starter and 1 more mid-relief guy would’ve been nice, but I suppose the unsigned dudes want guaranteed roster spots and we couldn’t give that to them.

    No, Manny literally didn’t keep track of the count in an at bat. Not hyperbole

    He kinda seems like a similar hitter to Manny Ramirez. 0 awareness and 0 understanding of what pitchers are trying to do to him, but he’s got so much natural talent he’s able to overcome it. Manny was famously known to not even keep track of the count in an AB, he would just swing at strikes and not swing at balls. Vlad seems to be a similar hitter.
