Almost gotta wonder if Hoffman is insisting on showing/developing the splitter in order to plead his case to become a starter?? Seems extremely obvious to anyone watching (and the FO should know this you think) that he can be an elite RP without the splitter

    You have a problem

3 steps forward, 3 steps back with this team so far

Varsho is the next logical guy to lock up. This FO values defense, and they have 2 guys up the middle locked in for 5 years now. Varsho would complete that up the middle elite D

I see Jays24 disappeared as soon as the jays win it. Typical, dude is such a f***in whiner he WANTS the team to lose

When he was going good back in April, seemed like he never walked anyone. Attacked the zone constantly. Not sure what changed in May.

Springer is pretty bad when trying to make plays against the wall

I hate Buck’s explanation of “the umpires dont know his move”. Its either a balk or its not. Balks are dumb, lefties get away with clear as day balks every game with their BS pickoff moves.

Padres unis are great and their park is one of the best in MLB.

I somewhat agree with you, its not his fault the team failed. But the point still stands that he hasn’t showed up when we need him. Not since 2021.
