    No, Manny literally didn’t keep track of the count in an at bat. Not hyperbole

    He kinda seems like a similar hitter to Manny Ramirez. 0 awareness and 0 understanding of what pitchers are trying to do to him, but he’s got so much natural talent he’s able to overcome it. Manny was famously known to not even keep track of the count in an AB, he would just swing at strikes and not swing at balls. Vlad seems to be a similar hitter.

    I think you nailed it on the Yarbrough situation. Seems it was a “doing a favor” move by letting him go to the Yankees. I seem to recall the front office being a little too… player friendly in situations in the past, to the team’s detriment. Obviously the Yarbrough situation is miniscule in terms of the overall record, but right now its looking like a mistake.

    Sasaki been kinda bad so far. 1.2 IP and 4 walks in tonight’s game. Seems his control is just not there yet and looks like the Dodgers are hesitant to let him go beyond 60ish pitches. I know its only 2 games, but can you keep trotting him out there to walk 4-5 guys per start? Wonder if he gets sent to AAA to work on things.
