    That’s honestly closer to his worth and realistically what he SHOULD get. And even then, he could easily end up as one of the most overpaid players in the league if he maintains the inconsistency

    I sincerely hope that he doesn’t come near the number the Jays just offered him, and I hope the next offer they table is 100 million less. I hope he never sees a contract starting with the number 5 ever again. Maybe then he’ll finally realize he isn’t as special as he thinks he is.
