  1. I didn’t even consider this, but yeah you’re right. Might need 7 innings from the pen tomorrow lol
  2. It was close enough that the call in the field should stand. That is not a conclusive play. Umps suck
  3. Honestly he probably gets released when Yimi comes back
  4. He literally gives up a homer every outing, not hard to predict
  5. Vlad having a 20hr sub 850 OPS season the first year after signing a 500m deal looks comically bad for the outlook of the organization
  6. The thing that makes guys like Pujols, Bonds, Soto, Trout etc. so good isn’t just the physical talent… they have elite eyes/pitch recognition and extremely good baseball IQ. I don’t think Vlad will ever come close to replicating the career numbers of those guys. He just doesn’t have it between the ears unfortunately.
  7. More likely to see them be traded in the next few weeks IMO
  8. Right, this is a borderline wildcard team unless they make significant improvements at the deadline
  9. Its clear you didnt watch any games in April, because he was absolutely elite and the best reliever in baseball and all you do is complain he sucks. That being said, its been long enough now where he hasn’t looked good at all and he’s outlived the leash he earned from April. He should be bumped down the pecking order
  10. The Yankees got swept by the Angels… just sayin. This is baseball
  11. The uncanny blend of cartoon faces and generated realistic faces. This is like twilight zone space jam
  12. Gotta wonder how much better our team record would be if we had the Rays’ front office resources/stats/info
  13. Yeah I really thought they should’ve brought Teo back on a 3-4 year deal after Seattle and I think that easily could’ve been accomplished. Didn’t happen. FO doesn’t like Teo. We brought in Santander instead, who is a very similar player but fits the lineup better as a switch hitter. Although he hasn’t shown it yet, Santander will provide some of that thump we’ve been missing since Teo’s departure. Im almost certain he’ll be a key contributor for us down the stretch
