    The thing that makes guys like Pujols, Bonds, Soto, Trout etc. so good isn’t just the physical talent… they have elite eyes/pitch recognition and extremely good baseball IQ. I don’t think Vlad will ever come close to replicating the career numbers of those guys. He just doesn’t have it between the ears unfortunately.

    Yeah I really thought they should’ve brought Teo back on a 3-4 year deal after Seattle and I think that easily could’ve been accomplished. Didn’t happen. FO doesn’t like Teo. We brought in Santander instead, who is a very similar player but fits the lineup better as a switch hitter. Although he hasn’t shown it yet, Santander will provide some of that thump we’ve been missing since Teo’s departure. Im almost certain he’ll be a key contributor for us down the stretch
