    These guys simply need to play to their projections. And if most of the lineup is failing to come close to projections… a failure by this organization? Hard to say its just bad luck when it continues happening. Pitching seems to be better than projected so far though, i’ll give them that.

    Multiple Yankees have 5+ homers. Jazz Chisolm has 6 homeruns, which is the same as our top 4 hitters combined. Even Volpe would be HR leader in our lineup with 4.

    Same thing happened in that extra inning game on the weekend. Like yeah Kirk gave him a bad throw for the DP, but it was catchable and a play 90% of first baseman likely make.

    Worst contract in the sport as soon as ink was put to paper. By a longshot. Ed Rogers got involved Arte Moreno-style. Fine, as long as he’s willing to continue spending. But he really needs to just let the front office do their job because he likely knows as much about baseball as your average facebook commenter.

    Yup I agreed he shouldn’t be hitting 4th. I was just saying that using a 2-week sample size to justify why he shouldn’t hit 4th is dumn. We have a 2-year sample to show why he shouldn’t be hitting 4th on a competitive team.

    Again the f***in box score, Jays 12 hits 4 runs Mariners 10 hits 8 runs It should not take 12 hits to score 4 runs (and 1 was the ghost runner) Need to be slugging way more than they currently are.

    We all knew the game was over as soon as Barnes was in. Although to be fair, Jays probably take another 3 innings to plate a run so it wouldn’t have mattered much.
