  1. Yeah not gonna happen. There’s pretty much 0 chance we move anyone from the active roster. We’ll be adding. All you guys suggesting we trade Bo/Bassitt/whoever are living in fantasy land.
  2. Yes plus people are forgetting the absolute trash stadium they had to play in. Not making excuses, but im sure its not great. JS exiting the game from LF after his ejection was comical
  3. Yup. They’re in a great position. Just gotta keep grinding, and hopefully we make a big splash at the deadline. Should be sn exciting summer.
  4. You’re at least in the top 5 of most annoying posters on this forum.
  5. Exactly this. Sucks we couldn’t pull further ahead in the standings tonight but it is what it is. Not gonna win every game.
  6. Wow that’s actually super interesting and can somewhat explain the difference in offense at home vs road. ”BOSTON — Recently, Toronto Blue Jayshitting coach David Popkins met John Schneider in his office and told the manager their team needed to start travelling with an iPitch machine. Similar to Trajekt — a Canadian-developed robotic pitching system that can replicate the arsenal of every MLB pitcher with precise speed, spin, break, and release point, shooting balls out from behind a large screen projecting their delivery — an iPitch can simulate pitches of various velocities and actions to help hitters prepare for any given day’s matchup.” So it seems like they have that more advanced machine at home and it seems to be working
  7. I think different players can prefer/thrive on different schedules and usage. Some guys wanna be out there every day, some guys know they pitch better with more rest. Just wanna point out Hoffman has a better xFIP than Clase this season. A few people have mentioned wanting to acquire Clase for the closer role, but he hasn’t been as elite this year as he was previously
  8. It seems to me that Hoffman is a lot worse when he’s been off for several days. He seems to be much sharper when he’s pitching more often. Probably a reason he was used in this game, wouldn’t be surprised if he’s nails next outing
  9. Chad Green can serve up a 2 run homer in the 7th and then we have another tight game
  10. Cal Raleigh has 38 homeruns Disgusting
  11. f***ing Mariners can’t do anything right
  12. Yeah if people are hating on Scherzer at 15mil… imagine the outrage when Degrom misses an entire year getting 37mil
  13. Degrom would be disgusting to have in a playoff rotation, I just don’t trust his arm to stay healthy at all
  14. Degrom + Scherzer in the same rotation is potentially catastrophic lol
  15. No shot the Jays go after Degrom IMO, way too high risk with multiple years left.
  16. Keller seems like exactly the type of guy this FO would be after. Can also see Alcantara too, though he’s not pitching very well so far
  17. Prospects are fickle, we need to take advantage of this shot at a deep postseason run this year
  18. Hmm ok, i thought he had underperformed the xstats in 2019, 2020, 22 and 23, and now 25.
