Swap Martin and Donaldson and most likely that the lineup we'll see. And no, nobody is really worried about Donaldson.

God I hate Romo please no
  3. Stangstag
He was the one who started mentioning his kids. This all started because he said Martin should bat 9th and I told him that idea is beyond retarded. Then he started with the crazy insults and s*** went downhill. Mods should look through this thread and see some of his posts
  4. Stangstag
Yup this guy should be banned

Saunders actually hit LHP pretty well last year. His splits are pretty even. I'd rather have him playing everyday until he shows that he can't hit LHP

Did you even WATCH the wildcard game? Lester choked that game. Anyways, Lester is the better pitcher but he will cost far more than Shields. Shields would be the better deal. We probably don't have the money for Lester anyways.
  7. Stangstag
I like the defense that Goins brings.
  8. Stangstag
Maybe we can package him in a trade or something. Pay half the salary maybe
  9. Stangstag
6789 will likely be Saunders Smoak Travis/Izturis/Goins Pompey
  10. Stangstag
How are Navarro and Smoak playing at the same time? Not possible with Edwin and Martin in the lineup. Navarro will be traded though
  11. Stangstag
Nah, im not scared of Melky on the Orioles. He's not THAT good of a hitter. He's obviously above-average, but he's not a game-changer
  12. Stangstag
Haha true. But when you think about it, we really don't need Morneau. The offence is damn good as-is, and Osuna is more important to this team. Plus Morneau costs more money which would cut into our James Shields/Jon Lester funds
  13. Stangstag
Lol no. I wouldn't even do one of Norris/Osuna for Morneau at this point.
  14. Stangstag
No... just no. Smoak is not that good of a hitter. He's not even top 6 in this lineup.
  15. Stangstag
    I like Pompey hitting 9th
  16. Stangstag
The playoffs will be easy to make
  17. Stangstag
AA specifically said on the radio today that we are now "out" on Melky
  18. Stangstag
Why on earth would you bat Smoak ahead of Donaldson
  19. Stangstag
I think he would still be worth his salary until about the last year or two of his contract.
  20. Stangstag
He does have injury concerns, but he played 130 games in both 2012 and 2013
  21. Stangstag
Other than salary/contract, why not Lester?
  22. Stangstag
Loved that interview. AA said all the right things.
  23. Stangstag
    Very true
  24. Stangstag
Aaawww yissss. Saunders 30+ homeruns confirmed.
