  1. BTS, I have to admit you were right about Cody Anderson. The guy can pitch and he's not a total junkballer like I assumed.
  2. SHHHH!!! You're ruining my scam!!! What time are we meeting up tomorrow?
  3. Laugh if you want, but Puig-Correa-Bird is going to pulverize you for years to come. Enjoy Stanton's DL stints!
  4. NP, I'll process it first thing Monday.
  5. No. Ellsbury has proven 30/50 upside, the trade stands.
  6. Just in time, too... Reyes is terrible.
  7. Confirmed. I'll process with commish tools.
  8. I have no intention of trading him at the nadir of his value.
  9. He's the only reason I'm in the finals, and he's been stinging the ball for a week now, so I forgive him for having an awful-injury plagued season. He was a Top 40 player before he got hurt, so I'm not worried at all about his future outlook.
  10. I'll be interested to see what kind of ******** narrative they run with when their non-elite pen doesn't carry them to the WS.
  11. Good pitching? The Yankees lefty-heavy lineup will have to face to extremely nasty lefties in Sale and Rodon. The Yankees are a patient bunch of hitters so they will probably draw their share of BBs from Rodon, but he has been filthy for a couple months now and has ace-level stuff.
  12. Nobody is debating what Colabello has done with the bat so far, what we're questioning is what he is going forward, since clearly this level of production is not sustainable. What's your O/U for his wOBA next year? I'd go under .340.
  13. *opens LOD bookmark* *checks St. Louis Cardinals roster* Yep.
  14. I don't think that's necessarily true. He has a bat wrap currently, but if he eliminated that and got more short to the ball, I could see it paying major dividends. He has natural power, he doesn't need to load up to the hilt on every cut. It would certainly help with his breaking ball problem if he got more short to the ball, it would give him more time to see the pitch before committing.
  15. Bautista has a consistently low BABIP too, it's not just about being slow. If a lot of your hits proportionately are HR, you will have a low BABIP.
  16. I can just see it now: ----- 2016 DDL Playoff Qualifier
  17. Martin is arguably our 2nd best position player. He's been everything we could have hoped for.
  18. I disagree, I have been celebrating Braun, but not for the purposes of rubbing your nose in it. Waino is probably better than him next year anyway.
  19. If I win, I promise I won't lord it over anyone... except NJH, obviously.
  20. That's more dorky than anything, IMO.
  21. North was a worthy and humble champion. He never bragged that I can remember.
  22. You're all dicks. I've poured my heart and soul into this league.
  23. Hey, I like Pillar. I met him and he's a very humble guy who's putting together a nice season. However it's important to maintain some perspective. Rasmus is a much better hitter and Pillar is unlikely to have such a remarkably good defensive season next year, so I wouldn't pencil him in for 3+ WAR going forward. It's going to be almost impossible for him to be a consistent 3 WAR player if he's going to remain a sub-.300 wOBA bat.
  24. What evidence do you have that he's a subpar defender in CF? The metrics all indicate he's the definition of average.
