Normally I would agree with you, but Sanchez has looked unusually composed and dominant this series. I'd give him an inning today if needed, R or L. I wouldn't bring him in with runners on, though, he hasn't fared well in those situations.
I don't care what Gibbons says, Shi says, or anybody else. If it's the 7th inning and we are up by 1 with runners on 1st and 2nd and Choo up, you can bet every dollar that Price is coming into the game.
There's a difference between "cause for concern" and "we are f***ed." We have to use RHP against a couple of lefties, big f***ing deal. Besides, Price is available regardless of what anybody says.
I'm kinda annoyed with Andrew Stoeten for dropping the ball so badly with his ALDS coverage. I've been reading him/DJF for years, and he's posted regularly even when then team was in the doldrums. But now, in the biggest moment in over 20 years, he's gone completely MIA.
I think they'll sign twin 3 year deals this off-season, maybe something like 3/$50M each. I will put nothing past Anthopoulos when it comes to inking team-friendly extensions, and I think both players love this team/situation a lot.
Bautista signed a team-friendly contract which helped allow AA to surround him with talent, and he's carried our offense for years. He has every right to complain if this team doesn't procure an ace for next season, our last year with JB and EE under contract.
