    Orioles are extremely beautiful, I don't know what you're talking about. I get that we all hate the baseball team, but the bird itself is striking.

    I've seen Orioles in Ontario but they're fairly rare. My parents have about a dozen different bird feeders in their backyard and they only see Orioles once every few years.

    Whoa that's weird, I just got the test email, and then I got a notification for a new PM. Even though I got a PM 3 days ago with no notification, and I didn't change any settings. Either way, I'm back in the game now.

    Did anybody else stop getting email notifications when they get PMs on the Proboard? For some reason I'm not getting them any more. I double checked and my email address is correct and my notification is set to Instant for PMs.

    I'd pull my hair out if my team was batting Alcides anywhere but 9th, though I'm sure I would let it slide if they won the WS.

    Players still care about RBIs and have retarded pre-conceived notions like you bat your best hitter 3rd. It's ignorant, but it is what it is. Perhaps psychologically undermining several of your best players really would be a significant detriment to your team. I guess what I'm saying is I don't really care much.

    No, but it does illustrate the often overlooked point that lineup construction doesn't really make that much difference overall. A few runs here or there over the course of a season. Obviously you would like to optimize it, but it doesn't make that much difference in the end.

    Hard to say now that LAD has like 4 of the top 10 GMs.

    That would be like making a movie about the Jays 2015 ALCS run and only mentioning the contributions of Pillar and Estrada. I also don't understand glorifying a team that didn't even win a WS, but whatever.

    That movie was so stupid. The narrative was that they won on the backs of a bunch of scrappy, undervalued OBP guys. The truth was they had an MVP shortstop, arguably the best 3B in baseball, and 3 aces who didn't even get MENTIONED.
