  1. Well... that's a kind of sable. No, it's a kind of rat. And it's poorly made, even by rat hat standards.
  2. I can literally apply a Seinfeld moment to every aspect of life, and I usually do.
  3. Hey! Let's see if we can put Pandora back in the box for a second: - I never traded Dee Gordon (who I stole in the waiver draft) for useless Matt Garza - Therefore I never traded Chris Davis for Robby Cano - Therefore I never traded Glasnow for Ortiz I'd probably be in a lot better shape.
  4. Much like Costanza, things frequently go awry for me.
  5. It's the old Cooooo-STAN-za 2nd date routine. What at first blush seems repugnant becomes more palatable with repeated exposure. Eventually, it seems like a viable or even desirable option. Accentuate the positive outcomes while painting a picture of a plausible ceiling, and then disappear during the ugly times.
  6. You have a lot to learn about how to sell mediocre wares.
  7. Michael Taylor hit a 490 ft home run last year. He does suck, but I found it interesting. I believe it was the 2nd longest HR in MLB in 2015.
  8. I wonder if the advertisers who are paying MLB.com to play their clips realize that MLB just plays them over a radio feed without muting the game. Pretty f***ing infuriating, if I do say.
  9. Don't be, I've been wire-tapping your PMs for years now.
  10. Hold onto Mazara for me, I'll be targetting him as the centrepiece for Miggy.
  11. Giolito + Ventura for Shields is really going to be super hilarious in about a year. Just god awful, but at least I knew that at the time.
  12. Thanks. This is possibly my last kick at the can. If I can't get it done this year, there's a strong chance I'll be selling Miggy and Joey.
  13. And no, Lee never pitched for me. God damn James Shields, he burned me coming AND going.
  14. FML, how could I forget some of these. I chalk it up to repression. I never thought Heredia was good, I was just getting north to throw in some prospect ballast. At the time I had a black hole at CF and Choo was coming off a monster season and heading to Arlington, I was licking my chops.
  15. It's pretty disgusting that you squandered Donaldson and Corey Seager completely and still have far and away the best team in the league. Sickening, really.
  16. If I had won a championship that year or the following year with Waino, I wouldn't regret it. That's how I can sleep at night, although essentially swapping Carpener for Pujols was a regrettable idea on my part. I had Miggy at 3B and Carpenter was losing 2B eligibility, so I figured Pujols would be an upgrade on that bat, then Carpenter proceeded to double his power output. Ugh. Hurl never asked for Carpenter either, that inclusion was my idea.
  17. Fernandez & Carpenter is one of this worst trades in league history, I'd argue. All I have left to show for it is Albert Pujols' dusty ass and J.P. Crawford, who may not ever be fantasy relevant.
  18. What are my worst trades? The obvious ones that I can think of: - Jose Fernandez & Matt Carpenter for Albert Pujols & Adam Wainwright... never make a trade while grieving - Cano for Crush has started tipping pretty heavily in NJH's favour although I contend the jury is still out - Chapman for Ellsbury, who has been shite since the day I acquired him - Archer + Choo for Bautista, I don't really regret this one because Bautista is still a boss, but Archer turned out to be the ace I was hyping him to be - David Price for Choo & junk, lost a decent chunk of value here as Choo hit the skids - Lackey for a late rd pick was a roster crunch/I don't believe this old guy is actually good again mistake
  19. Oh damn, I need to commit that one to memory. Deeply regrettable.
  20. That will be super hilarious when Romo takes the closer gig and Tolleson loses his. I'm pretty sure silvergun hasn't lost a trade since he moved Donaldson for a 3rd rounder.
  21. You two don't seem to line up on anything major, so I expect this to be a thoroughly boring trade.
  22. Are you guys talking in code or are you just lost?
  23. Osuna himself said he wants to be a reliever this year as he feels (I'm paraphrasing) that adding too many innings this year might be risky to his arm as he's still not very far removed from TJS. He didn't say he wants to be a reliever forever though. I think the idea was to use him for some multiple inning outings this year and increase his workload gradually that way, then consider trying him as a starter next year. That said, there are a lot of factors in the bullpen and rotation this year that I could see conspiring to keep him as a reliver permanently.
  24. I'd love to own him, he's so consistently excellent. There's been no degradation of his stuff, either, in fact he threw harder than ever in 2015 and his SwStr% was right in line with his career rate.
