It really doesn't matter, his avg FB velo is what it is. When you sacrifice velocity for movement, over time, you can't just snap your fingers and get the velo back.
Yep. Stroman will be topping out in the high 80s by the time he's 30, possibly much sooner. He's already lost 1.6 MPH since 2014 and he's only at 91.9 now. He'll probably just be scratching 90 when he's around 28.
Lincecum has been terrible and in decline for 4 straight years. He would get absolutely hammered in the AL. He's probably not even as good as Biagini or Floyd at this point.
Seags surpassing my very reasonable expectations. Check out these zesty lines:
2016: .291/.345/.510, 129 wRC+
Career: .309/.378/.530, 147 wRC+
That's a bae right there.
It's hard to say, because Matt Bush has proven himself to be scum over and over again in his career. Maybe he was told to do it, or maybe he thought it would ingratiate him with his teammates and decided to plunk Bautista on his own accord. We'll never really know.
Does xFIP regress HR rate? You can look at his 25% HR and .415 BABIP and say that's unsustainable, but the dude has been f***ing batting practice, just grooving 91 MPH heaters right down the heart.
