  1. The Cubs catcher guy? You mean the one with the .431 wOBA in AAA who looks like the next Buster Posey? I prefer him to Crawford at this point but I'm in no position to trade either as far as my future is concerned.
  2. Eh, I've been trolled soooo many times about Rodon, I'm immune now. For me he's something like Lance Lynn or Francisco Liriano, but in a bad park. There are some clunkers but at least the Ks are there on the whole.
  3. I regret passing on Tanaka when that was on the table, although I'm happy for you that you landed Mazara.
  4. Well I already know who you want from me, so it's pretty easy to deduce who you'd want from my competitors.
  5. Rodon is pretty decent, unless you were expecting an instant-ace. 3.89/3.96/3.97 and 2.8 WAR with 193 K over his first 196 IP, that's plenty useful. He's shaved the walk rate this year but is getting unlucky with homers.
  6. Is the price tag Blake Snell or Dahl? That would be pretty steep. I'd give up Domingo for Miller, though... probably.
  7. I tend to veer away from HS arms because the roadmap is so long. I hate the idea of drafting a Kolek and missing on a Nola. Groome seems like the likely 1-1 so I would make an exception, if I ever had a pick that high.
  8. Not really, because you will have a few 12-14 win blowouts as well.
  9. So assuming we all think Robles is the top pick (or at least Min does, which is what matters), you must think there are 2 more current minor leagues who are slam dunks to go ahead of Groome/Puk/Ray/Lewis. Who might they be?
  10. You have a pretty good chance to beat the record, you just need to average 10 wins per week here on out. I look forward to cockblocking your attempt in week 20, and I also enjoy that I've already ruined your chance at a perfect season.
  11. Ok I'm going to strongly object to using Hurl's face as our League Logo; it's bad enough I see it nightly in my sex dreams.
  12. Oh, ok... so literally everybody but Boxy cares.
  13. I care too, because it's my record. Probably teams who have never finished above .500 don't care, I think that's what Boxy was trying to say.
  14. Remind me why Kopech hasn't played this year, is it another suspension or did his arm blow up?
  15. Probably got it hitting a HR in three straight games.
  16. Another tater for Duvall! Now SLGing (.584 to .578) and ISOing (.318 to .312) better than Trevor Story on the season.
  17. I offered Stanton for Bryant in LOD, got shot down. Love me some KB.
  18. He can't get poached this draft, the earliest he could get stolen is the Waiver draft next Feb.
  19. Miguel Sano and Giancarlo Stanton are stat-twins this year... sadly that is underwhelming in both cases.
  20. As a commissioner, you should probably know by now that this is impossible within the parameters of our league.
  21. Nevertheless, I try to compliment Boxy when I can.
  22. Buck Showalter is the reason Chris Davis and Nelly Cruz emerged as elite power hitters.
  23. Adam Duvall is just a straight-up hacker, but he's in the right park to do it.
