    Note to self, do not buy tickets to see the Red Sox. Holy f***, what a long game. Can we all take a moment to appreciate our #2 hitter Ezequiel Carrera? His meaningless and ill-advised bunts have salvaged many a game and his TV dives add entertainment value. On top of that, he's the only thing keeping trash like Steve Pearce out of the lineup. Thank god Gibby has a raging boner for this stud or we'd be in much worse shape.

    I hate Ezequiel Carrera. Steve Pearce is getting the shaft so we can watch this guy's stupid face and hilariously over the top tv dives.

    I kinda feel pretty bad for the guy. It was a stupid thing to do but the punishment he's received doesn't fit the crime. Not to mention the thousands of people who did the same thing in game 5 2015 against the Rangers and got away with it scot free.

    And if I recall correctly, Bichette turned down a number of teams and targeted the Jays even though he has no connection to us at all. Dad never played here, brother was never in our system, never lived in this city, etc. So Shatkins' decisive emphasis on all aspects of player development probably netted us a top 5 prospect all on its own.

    Heyman is a moron but at the end of the day, no one breaks more deals than he does. Given our current backup situation, seems like an obvious fit as well.
