    Yeah I'm not really liking this trend of MLB putting small bandaids on a bunch of non problems. I was meh on the no pitch IW, but having seen one live, it's just too f***ing weird. I mean, the fans at the stadium aren't necessarily owed anything but the batter comes up with his music and walks to first without even stepping in the box.     You know, I open myself up here and I know I got roundly mocked but that trade really couldn't have gone more wrong on my end. Kyle hurt and lower velo (probably because he couldn't grip the ball firmly) Puig has been a lot worse than projected, Diaz a lot worse than projected, Correa a lot better than projected, etc. I mean, I'll take my lumps if you want the low hanging fruit but it's kind of remarkable just how wrong it all went.

    What I really don't get is why Mookie never got love. The guy has all the tools. Usually they treat the Calhoun and Goldy types this way but Betts could always run and always hit. Maybe it was his height? Scouts are dumb. Hopefully not too remarkable!

    Dealing with constant anxiety is a terrible feeling. A lot of times, people have no idea on the outside that someone is struggling mentally. I know jokes will be cracked, etc. etc. but just keep in mind that Osuna must be feeling awful if he felt the need to go public with this. I'm actually glad he did, helps fight some of the stigma against mental health problems and if I'm an advocate for anything, it's that. Toronto's most well known mental health hospital is still in an old timey insane asylum FFS. (consider donating to CAMH, btw)

    If we're being honest, does anyone really want to watch Kevin Pillar playing in the AS game? He's a s***** hitter and there's very little chance he's gonna make a flashy play, would probably be in a corner anyway.
