  1. Aside from the fact that they have entirely different names, Brett Anderson is also not worth 7 million. Oh look, 2 white guys who throw baseballs, they must be the same. f***ing sexist.
  2. Dude, going by Jimmer Nelson, just hang on to him. Nelson went through that same kinda thing and then this year happened.
  3. It would be pretty cool to see f***ing Jimmy Nelson win it. Right now, I'd say it's gotta be between Grienke, Scherzer, Strasburg and Nelson. I'd probably give it to Mad Max right now but it's a pretty tight race. In the AL, it should be just between Kluber and Sale, and they are close enough that I think either one could win and I'd have zero issues.
  4. Can you at least change your team logo from Ty Cobb to something relevant?
  5. All these snotty nose kids are the same to me. Org, King, the Jew. I can't be expected to keep track.
  6. Shut up and yes Also, what team are you? Oh really? Then stfu f***, you took over for Gibbers? I'm having a bad day
  7. Year isn't over. I still believe in Puig's talent. Like I said, Correa has been absolutely terrible for awhile now.
  8. Honestly, Correa and Puig have gone completely different directions in the second half. Correa is sporting a FORTY wRC+ post AS break while Puig is around 130 and Hendricks is making gains. Obviously not good to take a favourable sample like that and judge, but the trade itself may not be as bad as everyone thought, especially depending on Paddack who will be ready for ST. However, you can lick my hairy taint if you honestly thought Diaz would be this bad. No one thought he would be this bad. I could have handled a slight hit, maybe a 115 wRC+ but 77 in AAA? Holy f***.
  9. Puig's had a .380 wOBA in the second half and Hendricks has an ERA under 3 after his hand injury, so the Correa trade is starting to look a bit better but holy f***, what in god's name happened to Aledmys Diaz? How do you go from a .370 wOBA (and half of that was even prior to the juice ball!) in the majors to a .305 wOBA in AAA?! I mean, I guess thank jesus Bregman got SS but it's not like Diaz was just having flukey luck. Hopefully Paddack comes back next year and continues being the beast he was prior to TJ.
  10. Damn, z3r0s. Your rebuild has been nothing short of impressive.
  11. Aaaand Matt Olson has 21 homers in less than 200 PAs I hate baseball.
  12. The new draft philosophy: ignore milb stats and take guys who hit fly balls.
  13. In retrospect, this was a pretty big compliment. Thanks Nick!
  14. Is it just me or is Matt Olson really handsome?
  15. Yeah, who knows? Seems like pretty much anyone can be a superstar in the juiced ball era.
  16. It's a myth that you have to pitch down in the zone to have success. Especially with Osuna's stuff.
  17. Omfg the best comment: "Moses Cleveland is buried in Canterbury, Connecticut. Even the founder of Cleveland left Cleveland."
  18. The ironic part about the second video is that Detroit is now way better than Cleveland
  19. Don't worry about Glasnow. He stopped using the wind up and that means he's good and stuff.
  20. So this stupid cap could have potentially deprived us of ever seeing Otani in MLB (if he got injured in the next two years). I'd really like to see that nonsense scrapped.
  21. Holy f***, I thought it was just me because I agreed with FeatherD 100% and didn't understand the attitude that this should be cool. Can playoff teams trade too, in their minds?
  22. Everyone at this level is going to try to do this kinda stuff and I kinda applaud the Sox for being so clever, but they look like total asshats for the way they've responded to this. They get caught red handed so they immediately (and childishly) throw a complaint right back at the Yankees. Based on what? Then they say that NONE OF THE COACHES, INCLUDING FARRELL, KNEW. Give me a f***ing break. People surely can't be dumb enough to believe that, right? All the players knew, all the trainers knew, the FO knew but nope, Farrell had no idea. I mean, I know he's not exactly brilliant but give me a break.
  23. You know he did this exact same thing last year, right?
