    Small sample size bro. Also look at his first half GB rate and compare it to his second half. It ain't a 20% improvement...

    Nowhere did I say august was an outlier. Regression towards the mean can be positive or negative, it is just towards the average. I also dont believe he is a bust, I just think there are worrying trends in his profile that need to be corrected for him to reach his potential and I'm not convinced they are weight related.

    Looking a bit deeper into August it looks like Vlad's BABIP regressed towards his career average and Vlad chased less which lead to more walks and less strikeouts. The GB rate was still worrying though, and until that is corrected I'm not sure we are going to see the elite bat that Vlad was projected to have.

    Someone explain this DH thing to me. Do the Red Sox now have to use a different PH the rest of the way in the DH slot?

    Clearly people do think its effective otherwise this wouldnt be happening or is everyone who has a different view point unreasonable?

    So it is up to black athletes to fix injustice against black people? You realize that it is only a small percentage of athletes that actually have the resources to meaningfully change their communities? And of that group many already invest in their communities. Police brutality and racial inequalities still exist. Furthermore, it is not black communities that need to have the message spread to them. They are the victims of racial inequality.

    Relax, you will survive without baseball for a day or two. Both teams are supporting basic human rights, whether or not you agree with their method I think we can all agree with what they are fighting for.
