Fortunately, I never had parents that forced me into anything, but I witnessed alot of it in youth soccer. The irony is that most of these kids end up quitting or failing to maximize their potential because sport becomes a job rather than a hobby or passion. -

One of the Sportsnet guys (Arden Zwelling IIRC) also mentioned that the Jays internal brass believe that they made the best offer for Lindor last year so clearly there is a desire to acquire the player that goes beyond just tire kicking.

It probably makes more sense to have immunocompromised individuals vaccinated last and have younger and healthier individuals vaccinated first. As counterintuitive as that sounds it is the latter group that is predominantly out and about and spreading the virus so vaccinating them initially may save more lives in the end. -
