    Bowden tweet... Ross Atkins Blue Jays GM told me this morning that he has told both Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista that he wants to keep both long term rather than trade them or let them depart via free agency. They have not made any extension offers yet.... but have talked at length with both and have a scheduled meeting with Bautista next week. Just FYI

    Man... The just completed four gamer against the League leaders, followed by Price starting in a game that would put us the wildcard spot... I haven't been this excited for baseball since '93. No joke... I think the city fell in love with the jays this week, and I am looking forward to just enjoying this stretch run. GO JAYS GO

    Correct, but many sandwich and comp picks that aren't available any more make a rebuild of the minors slower this time. Probably.... Saying that, I hoped AA stays on after this season because of his skills at rebuilding the depth in the minors. He seems to be improving his ability to construct an MLB roster tho. IMO, his biggest failing up to now by far.
