    It wasn't a good draft because we didn't sign an 18th or 30th rounder? Or was it because we punted away this years pick for a better opportunity next year?

    Noah Syndergaard. Drafted out of High school........ panning out. Aaron Sanchez. Drafted out of High school............. panning out. Justin Nicolino drafted out of high school............... panning out. Tyler Beede. Though not signed, looks to be a top round selection next year. If there is one thing I wouldn't stop... it's drafting high school guys.

    Francona must have breathed a huge sigh of relief. Imagine your TJ recovered fireballer goes 9 innings in his debut. Reaching back in late innings trying to get a no no. That could ruin a career.

    It's funny. It's mildly disappointing, only because we yearn for instance gratification. But think how hyped we all will be next June. If the Jays can't make a sustained run... I hope they tank to finish bottom 3rd again. An 8 or 9 pick, plus an 11... plus a compensation for JJ (someone will sign him).

    It might still be the plan... could be posturing. I would prefer an 11th overall pick in a much deeper draft. Wish Phil the best.... I personally think it's a great move. Imagine if NBA teams could do that.... probably the 1st 5 teams would have not signed their players.

    I don't think anyone can do as good a job as Jannsen... But I few guys that could be close. It wouldn't kill us to lose him.

    Team would do great if it got a kid like Kolten Wong for a Neil Wagner and Casey Jansen. It would sting like hell. But the depth would be great.

    It couldn't hurt. No one can say for sure the velocity program helps..... but my god am I tempted to say it for sure does.... McGowan actually looks healthy. Delabar went from substitute to potential allstar..... god damn Brett Cecil is an allstar... f***ing Brett Cecil..... a small sample size for sure.... but if I were in charge in of the Jays pitching..... I would have every last god damn one of them on that program this off season... from low A to the major leagues..... I'd say f*** it... what do we got to lose?
