  1. lol Yes.
  2. I like Ross a lot. He's cheap and has a ton of room for improvement. Personally, I don't deal him. I just don't know how he and DD can co-exist though. Ideally they do a sign-and-trade to bring in a legit #3 and Ross comes in off the bench. The defense against elite SG/SF is simply not good enough with Ross/DD out there fulltime.
  3. http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1319978 Good read on the Raps' cap situation heading into next year. We're in pretty good shape.
  4. Every single "advanced" stat basically says that Dirk is one of the greatest of his generation. He's led the league in Win Shares and PER multiple times..
  5. They just knew how to play basketball. Defense was always #1 and they were beyond fundamentally sound. Easy team to like.
  6. I think Masai ends up looking to package Ross in order to make a bold move. I think we've seen in this series that he and DD will never be an elite 2-3 tandem. Their games just don't complement each other well enough. Ross is a valuable chip and Ujiri is not afraid to make bold moves.
  7. Are you kidding me? Dirk is a first ballot HOFer............ Ridiculous statement.
  8. They had a fantastic team. Ben Wallace's defense was limited but he was a fringe superstar. Billups and Hamilton were both allstar worthy. Prince and Rasheed were both fantastic as well. One of the deeper teams at that time.
  9. Yeah true. But sometimes you have to take risks. Signing Okafor and Deng make us good but nowhere near good enough.
  10. Watched the replay a few mins ago and some of the calls were hilarious. LOL @ that call against Deron Williams late in the game being given to KG so he doesn't foul out. So obvious that the fix was in.
  11. Okafor is exactly the type of player we need but he'll still probably get decent money. Not sure how well Deng would mesh in with our current team. Signing him would also hinder any chance of getting Durant in 2016.
  12. -"If anyone's going to take that shot, I'll live and die with you taking that shot." - what DeMar told Kyle after the buzzer, per Kyle 4:46 PM - 4 May 2014 Bruce Arthur ✔ @bruce_arthur
  13. Amir has one year left on his contract and PP is a FA. I'd re-sign PP and then let Amir walk next year. Then Durant as the starter and PP backup in the years after. I'm really optimistic for the future. You cannot place a value on the experience that these players will gain from this series.
  14. Ross definitely was reason #1 we lost the series. He showed flashes today but he consistently missed wide open shots and got burned defensively when we needed a shot.
  15. Heartbroken right now. Raps made some key mistakes but the refs stole this from them. Never been more proud to be a Raps fan tho. Young, scrappy team with a bright future and the BEST fans in the league. The atmosphere in that building was mind blowing. Re-sign Lowry and GV. Upgrade at the wing and PF (Amir and PP combo not good enough) Get a better wing player to complement Ross.
  16. I'm just looking through Dickey's game log for this season Last 3 games 6IP 6H 6K/3BB 3ER 99 pitches 6.1IP 5H 6K/0BB 1ER 95 pitches 6IP 5H 3ER 3K/4BB 105 pitches Three starts where he was pitching effectively but still got the quick hook. Pathetic bullpen management. He's a f***ing KNUCKLEBALLER. One of the reasons why we signed the guy to a god damn extension at 38 years old was because of how knuckleballers, allegedly, don't get tired/fatigued... Gibbons is in way over his head. Managers can only impact a game in a few specific ways in baseball but rotation/bullpen management is probably the biggest one. He's failed massively.
  17. Great vid on Jurassic Park http://www.tsn.ca/VideoHub/?collection=72&show=357069
  18. They cost enough. At the end of the day though it's a game 7. The experience is worth it. Will never forget Games 1 and 2. Insane atmosphere.
  19. No. 10M for an aging diabetic with declining performance. Absolutely, 100% no. Imagine where this team would be right now if Romero and Morrow pitched to their 2011 levels. Hard to tell which collapse is worse. Probably Morrow's because his ceiling was always thought to be higher.
  20. Spanky what's going on in the 'Shwa tonight?
  21. Dunno why anyone would waste money going down to the RC this summer. I do not plan on attending any games for the foreseeable future. f*** this s***. Blow it up.
  22. Every single god damn game. The pitcher hits 100 pitches and Gibbons takes him out. WTF is wrong with this idiot? If the starter is still pitching half decent and feels fine let him f***ing continue. It's like this switch goes off in his head whenever they hit that limit. Your pen is getting destroyed out there because of overuse.
  23. zOMG pitcher hit that MyStIcaL 100 PiTCh MaRk~!~!~!~!~!~!~ Seriously, it's just a f***ing number. 100 pitches is different on any given day. If the pitcher still feels fresh let him f***ing CONTINUE you god damn moron.
