  1. Knew it!!! Wants an extension so he can secure long term placement for his family. Some players hate the constant moving, look at Brandon Phillips this year, rejected going back to Dusty Baker in a place where he's gaurenteed a playoff hunt
  2. If his constant opinions about Hech and Sanchez are anything to go by I say Osuna should not be traded and remain a blue jay the rest of his career lol
  3. I don't but you can see with your eyes sometime out of batters box limping, been like that since Juneish. I'm just saying what I'm seeing, and if I'm seeing this I think the trainers can
  4. My glossary is off then lol
  5. No it's not that I think that it should be traded as X WAR, I just think it's silly to use the same measure for a starter for a reliever. I think relief pitchers are worth more/less than WAR suggests Then again I could be talking out of my ass, I don't know about sabermetrics enough
  6. Hey I'm not agreeing with him, but he has a no trade clause so he has rights to think family first. He also may have another offer on the table, the mets were interested. NY is a better place and he improves chances to make the post season and they have money to extend him. He could be trying to force Milwalkee's hands. Which of course is going to strain relations but it's his right
  7. You're acting like this is something recent, it's been like this all season long. It's not like its a huge injury but it's his legs that are bothering him it seams
  8. Well Cleveland is a shithole. Also don't have money. He probably wants to go to a team that can extend him so he and his family can live in a place permanently
  9. Yeah he limps a lot, that's why on half the ground balls he doesn't hustle his hardest, you can see him at time wincing out of the batters box Howarth said that too he says he thanks Donaldson every time he gets the chance for playing hurt and he responds with 'Well Jerry, what else am I going to do? Not play?'
  10. This is a serious question, can judge a reliever by WAR? Especially w closer? If they keep blowing games it's single handedly in their hands no?
  11. I'm glad Gibbons is having a rolling DH, Donaldson needs the rest he's been playing hurt all year long
  12. Tercet's alive? If we're going by this logic might as well trade Donaldson because PROSPECTZ Man lots of you still have the loser mentality of always trying to get max value of MLB players. There's a reason why Indians dealt all those prospects for a closer. Do you know why? Flags fly forever, they have a shot of getting a ring, which is kind of the point of the game We see a trade like the Indians we should look at it as a positive for them, not a negative
  13. Yankees get Tyler Clippard Cardinals get Zack Duke for Charlie Tilson
  14. I saw he might be looking for financial compensation if he goes to the Indians
  15. Rosenthal tweeted that he thinks the Lurcroy is 'falling apart'. I don't think he wants to go to Cleveland, maybe he doesn't want to go anywhere lol
  16. Well I didn't think Miller was going anywhere and if anything Betances was going to be dealt, I guess he's their new closer I wonder if the Jays FO will make a move or if they are really handcuffed? They've shown that if they believe in something they can take criticism so if they end up not able to make favourable moves they won't make any just to please the fanbase and overpay.
  17. Can't show appreciation for posters that don't post junk on here anymore??
  18. 5 minutes that brings content here, but also 5 minutes that if you don't do them no one else will, so thanks
  19. Appreciate your hard work as always dude
  20. If anything with Internet streaming, if you factor it in, it may have slightly gone up. I listen to it way more because I have direct easy access to it
  21. God I hope you're right. I don't care for the lousy FM stations but I think the AM stations will live off forever. Lots of content on there whether it's Sports, News or even comedy. Very entertaining for car trips
  22. In the car I listen In the office during the day I listen to 590 for Blair, Wilner (not as bad as people think), Walker and Bobcat (can't stand Dean Blandell) I love Howarth and I'll fight anyone who says he sucks. Siddal is great too. I watch the games at home on MLB.tv with the 590 audio overlay most of the times way more of an upgrade over Buck/Tabby/Devlin. Game 5 ALDS was majestic from those 2 Also lots of Nicholson-Smith, Shi Davidi, Zwelling and JP Morosi appearances. Lots of great, constant baseball content way more than the TV side
  23. Wtf the games were on the normal 4 up until today, Rogers Cup booted to SN1 and SN360 but now they're in the quarters I think so obviously they're getting screen time more now
