  1. So why are you complaining that towers got a s*** load of starts???? Burnett went down early and we had a rotation of 3 bags of s*** God bless our BP, Brandon league and BlowJob Ryan were lights out that year
  2. ..... You must not remember 06. Chacin and Jannsen shat the bed too, who else are you gonna put in as a starter? They finally gave Marcum a shot in the rotation and he was a plug but still really young and was getting hit hard
  3. What kind of s***** relay throw was that
  4. Get a run here Upton! Nice walk up song too by Upton... Lockjaw!
  5. Double!!!! Donaldson was near the plate st the time I think lol
  6. Guys Peradamo's trash, we should just get by we'll be fine. We need to be in tip top shape for Bmore
  7. Guys idk if y'all know but they pushed Estrada to fav Baltimore and starting Dickey today
  8. Dickey's on the mound so obv no Martin. I wanted Tulo starting and why is Carerra playing RF over Upton?
  9. Ugly lineup today lol Bautista (DH) Dongerson EE Upton (LF...) Pillar Travis Carerra (RF???? Why??) Barney (SS) Thole
  10. Idk man we traded a guy who lost velo on his fastball who while he still has a wicked slider, can't locate his meatball anywhere and even if he does its gone, because it's a straight high 80's fastball. We got a dude who's K'ing people at 10 per 9 and walking way above his career norm with his velocity in the mid 90s just like last year when he was good. I have reason to believe he'll turn around for us, they probably just gave up on him and seen that he still gets good action on his slider and said f*** it nothing to lose But man Benoit hadn't lost anything like Storen lost velo, this is like the Grilli trade. I think this will play big in the postseason if he finds his groove
  11. Why do you guys forget like there's a postseason left to play??? This is a big move because lots of things suggest he should have more success in the coming months than Storen will. I don't think the guys like me are cheering for him because of the rest of the regular season, but we saw the post season is just a war of attrition, the better your BP the better the chance to win. If this guy becomes just a half decent guy we come out on top
  12. Called it!!! Great move we literally turned nothing (DFA) into something.
  13. I agree with pulling the DH for Edwin but I was expecting Bautista out and Upton in right for a double switch, keeping Bautista in was the mistake But he should have used Grilli before jumping to Chavez but then who would come in after Grilli? Shultz? Morales? They're not really reliable guys but Chavez gives you length
  14. guys we still have the post season. That's obviously what we're talking about. Plus if he's really good we have an option on him
  15. For sure no doubting that best pick up but what I'm saying is his good pickups to claims ratio is bad. And he didn't do a lot of midseason small deals. These guys might best him for making small tweaks
  16. So AA tried to get rid of him that doesn't count!!!
  17. Lol Valencia would have been a better shout!
  18. Isn't that JP Riccardi? Him and Bautista were both from the Riccardi era
  19. Dude this is awesome, he had a random jump in walks but stuff seems to still be there, his velo averaging out at the same rate it was last year, and he has an option. This is so refreshing to see. What a contrast compared to last season's deadline but man they've been effective and exciting. The Cleveland penny pinching mentality is probably being loved by the suit wearers at Rogers, $5M for Upton, free Grilli and a third of the 15$M (I think) minus the cash from Seattle. I'm very impressed
  20. Who'd we get off waivers? Laffey? Villanueva? Fred Lewis?
  21. Great guys thanks!!! Wow I think we won this based on face value, just from an entertainment point of view we have a hard thrower instead of a guy still thinking his stuff is in the 90s throwing meatballs
  22. AA worked the waiver wire like crazy... With little success Shatkins make small moves like this at a smaller rate but so far so good. I love this move
