  1. the comment may have more to do with the ready availability of catchers for cash.... kinda like relief pitchers or, maybe he is waiting for the O's to punt JPA
  2. this is just a hiccup in the grand scheme of things
  3. only 42? i envisioned u as older.... a broken down drunk
  4. Sanchez is very close to having a dominant skillset. He'd be better in Buffalo but not gonna happen The 'bust' label some have thrown out is very premature
  5. Sounds like something Melky would say Rasmus is too obvious and besides that's not redneck/southern slang talk
  6. well we should have known the good fortune healthwise with the starting rotation in 2014 wouldn't last..... stroman won't be the only one to go down can never have enough pitching Redmond and Estrada in the rotation to start, Sanchez in the 'pen, Norris in Buffalo to keep his clock from starting early, bring him up when one of Redmond/Estrada implodes
  7. True, but a good young pitcher making pre-arb salary is an even bigger bargain and allows you to use the $$ for other needs (like 2B).
  8. Lower risk option would be to trade Castro for the righthanded equivalent of Cecil
  9. the OP's question is how will this end Osuna joins the club mid August makes a few spot starts and BP relief stints Castro starts in Dunedin, ends season in Buffalo
  10. Sanchez's control seems to be improving. His velocity and movement is just too good not to rack up the Ks once he can locate reasonably well
  11. Good game by Sanchize A few more like this and he has to be the favourite for 5th starter
  12. Disagree. Finding a top 5 DH is difficult yes, finding two guys with favourable splits to share DH duties is not.
  13. that's not what i said, dumbass let's hope Osuna or Castro come on strong
  14. Typically between 25 and 35 games in a season are started by pitchers other than the 5 you start out with. Jays starting 5 is good but the depth behind it is a bit weak
  15. blue jay pitching prospects for Profar please
  16. holy f*** that was a stupendous display of passive aggressive.... well done
  17. Lind is soon to be 32 yrs old. Well past his peak. What Lind will show up, the 1.5 WAR 2013 and 2014 version or the negative WAR 2010 to 2012 version? He's an injury risk. He's mouthy. His talent level is widely available. Lind gone? I say, who gives a faaawwwwkkkk! I get it, you are emotionally attached to the big doofus.
  18. Minimally He sucks as a bench player, slow, s***** D, can't hit lefties He's borderline replacement level DH or 1B Smoak out of Safeco is better
  19. Lind is unprofessional 15 min workouts Bellyaching Measures production by ribeyz Good riddance
  20. dreamed last night they Jays got Freeman for pitching prospects. a real dream. i bleed blue
  21. happ this year cuz pitching is a weakness Barreto long term
  22. Ugh, the manhands
  23. Jays luck here's what happens Gose is a powerful bench weapon for the Tigers Saunders is on and off the DL Pillar starts over 100 games in LF and is a blackhole in the lineup with a 35% K rate Travis can't hack it at the Show
  24. Late for game, and late for other things I believe
