  1. Sure. I was gonna add that but the point I was making was already clear.
  2. Rocker will be a MLB reliever. His career will be similar to Pearson's.
  3. I'd do Bregman and Vlad, and use the extra cash for other needs, before Soto and Vlad. Soto and Vlad takes away the DH spot for rotating players, like Springer, through. Soto and Vlad together is nowhere close to optimal.
  4. Soto will be a 1B/DH in a few years. He's pretty bad in the OF already. I'm skeptical of Vad at 3B. Having two 1B/DH signed to megadeals doesn't seem wise.
  5. Can't see Francis in the bullpen as a long reliever, that would be a waste. He's either in the rotation or staying stretched out as SP depth in Buffalo.
  6. Best arm I've ever seen. Damn.
  7. Jays fired the culprit responsible
  8. It's not Atkins that needs to go. There seem to be weaknesses in the player development personnel. Of course, the same applies, are there better personnel available out there?
  9. Getting back to AJ Preller, he has singlehandedly turned around the Nats franchise. CJ Abrams - All Star SS James Wood - superstar in the making McKenzie Gore - MLB SP with upside remaining Jarlin Susana - entered BA top 100 today (#89) Robert Hassell was considered the best of the package at the time of the deal, jury still out on him but can't seem to hit upper level pitching
  10. Owners should be scrambling to find the next Anthopoulos, the next Dave Dombrowski, the next A.J. Preller. LMAO
  11. Jonathan Todd, RHP, Blue Jays Todd was a 15th-round draft pick for the Blue Jays, and his early data is very promising. His fastball has tremendous ride, averaging nearly 20 inches of IVB, which is more than 3 inches above what’s expected given his release. That will make the pitch an easy plus pitch even at 93 mph. He pairs that with a true gyro bullet slider, with enough velocity and promising shape to be viable swing-and-miss pitch. At 6-foot-6, 225 pounds, Todd has the frame to perhaps add a little bit more velocity, and could be a fast-moving bullpen arm that might rocket through the minor leagues and reach Toronto’s bullpen next year.
  12. Jays should have no issue giving Vlad an incentive laden deal so that if finishes top 3 in MVP voting for example, he gets paid pretty close to the Soto tally
  13. Who the f*** uses Skype these days??
  14. Voted #4 SP while thinking of Manoka.
  15. Updated scoring: Science Nerds - 12,527 Conspiracy Nuts - 1
  16. I'm gonna repeat here my prediction that Soto is signed by the Nats, and they are contenders in 2025
  17. Smart man
  18. Something to keep in mind about swing adjustments. It doesn't happen overnight. Takes weeks and weeks of repetition to lock them in.
  19. For the most part I've stopped that for your own sanity.
  20. To be fair, pretty much everyone does this. There are very few with excellent listening / reading skill.
  21. Eloy was redundant the moment he walked into the O's clubhouse. Most baffling trade ever.
  22. Without looking, yes.
  23. Ya. He will sign a 1 day deal with Cincy, not the same obv
  24. I'm sure he has no regrets. Body is just broken down.
