  1. Yes, sorry. Decided to go with Pearson and Graterol, both should be good ML contributors this season.
  2. I'm sure Marsh will inhabit the back end of some 100's in the next few months.
  3. I sent you a pick swap. Customer satisfaction is my credo.
  4. I think you called me BORED's very own DiPoto a few years ago. And it's worked, I gotta be ahead of the drunks, on paper.
  5. He did well. But I'm happy to significantly improve my pitching assets.
  6. Spooge has the following available for MiLB or waiver pick upgrade: Jorge Alfaro James McCann Jonathon Schoop Dexter Fowler Kevin Gausman Tyler Clippard
  7. Yes, you said top prospect, which Brandon Marsh is not. So I had to correct you.
  8. Value is not determined by ranking within an organization.
  9. Marsh is not a top prospect. He is not on BA Top 100 or Sickels Top 100 released last week. He's still very much high risk, but a guy that reasonably projects as an average OF with speed. Angels probably don't do it, but after getting Rendon and with the bullpen their main weakness, they might be motivated.
  10. With a *wink, wink* promise of a guaranteed contract after a year.
  11. They got money from trades.... something like $1.25 million total or something.
  12. Don't the Jays still have an appreciable amount of international money avail for this period? Couple of million?
  13. My preference is to have 5 SP, 5 RP, and 3 SP/RP that are primarily relievers (that I can put in SP slots). Such that on any given day, I could accumulate stats from 7-8 pitchers. Tough to get it to this point though. Takes ~3 months into the season and plenty of FA/waiver wire moves.
  14. Nope. If the Angels are willing to part with Marsh for Giles, you do it.
  15. https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2020/01/02/josh-donaldson-has-multiple-four-year-offers-on-the-table/ Braves, Twins, Nats have apparently extended 4 yr offers to JD. Hard to see him going to Minny.
  16. As a mod you should be encouraging forum participation, not discouraging it. Also, a vague reference to 'morals' does not contribute to the discussion. Be better!
  17. Anyone with an Athletic sub that can drop Sickels 2020 top 100 in here? https://theathletic.com/1489574/2019/12/30/john-sickels-top-100-mlb-prospects-for-2020/
  18. Barring injury or a disastrous ST, I'm expecting the 26th roster spot to go to Alford, and he will be eased into MLB against weaker pitching and as a late inning replacement. See if his excellent AAA 2nd half can continue.
  19. Hurl is obviously an ex-con.
  20. Smart signings, with one true overpay in Ryu, the others are quite competitive. Projects as a slightly below .500 team right now, IMO. They aren't done, so this thread is 3 months premature.
  21. I'm driving a group to the Bryan Adams show in Niagara Falls tonight, picking them up after.... exciting!
  22. Guys coming back from TJS often struggle initially. It's SSS of 22 innings. The 6.95 BB/9 isn't likely to continue. Can he get back to his historical ~3 BB/9? Possibly. As I said, he's interesting.
  23. That's beside the point. The arbitrariness of what constitutes "sudden loss" and the level of compensation if any is given can be contentious and bad for the league.
  24. I was being more than a bit sarcastic
