  1. Reported so you can't own a firearm. Do you own one, now?
  2. Have you ever tried to work out why you are f***ed up, and resolve it? If you take this route, some risk you will get reported, but worth the risk IMO
  3. If the Reds are truly all in and looking to bolster their bullpen, Giles for Jose Garcia would be fine by me.
  4. Reds are in win-now mode. This year's Mets.

  6. I don't think it has to do with valuation, although the shine has rubbed off a bit. More about dealing their best trading chip from a position of surplus to fill other needs.
  7. Only way I can see a deal getting done unless Groshans is part of the deal, but Reds in win now mode so can't see it
  8. Include Votto and his contract in the deal?
  9. i see the two 2020 draft orders are on the spreadsheet, nice work
  10. There would be two sets of draft orders though, for 2019 and 2020. Plus picks have been traded. I think we still need two drafts.
  11. Was thinking the same. Could also reduce the 2020 draft to 5 rounds and increase the number of MiLB spots to 15 at the time of the 2021 draft.
  12. And they will have more value after the waiver draft I'm keen to add Flaherty without losing any valuable keepers
  13. Currently, guys like Lindblom, Tsutsugo, Akiyama would be top 5 picks in the waiver draft. Now these guys will at some point be eligible to be picked up on waivers. In the past after the waiver draft, the waiver wire order was reset in reverse order to last year's standings. Maybe overthinking this, just wondering what the process will be with the proposed rule change. nvm - 2020 waiver draft still takes place, after that draft the league becomes a true dynasty league
  14. This would mean no reset of the waiver wire order? There are some guys that would be picked early in the waiver draft that will be hot commodities
  15. Gonna vote for the change, in part because I expect to be on vacation somewhere warm early March for the next few decades.
  16. Understood but as written allows players that hit AA the previous year to be added at any time (then moved to farm per new rules). Also makes no mention that players exceeding prospect eligibility criteria and having green flags cannot be stashed on the farm at cut down.
  17. Done. Keeper rules next.
  18. Ah, gotcha. Makes sense.
  19. In terms of value waiver pick 15 has just as much value as pick 45, really. Outside the first 10 or so picks, the waiver draft pool is just a glob of wildcards. Fully agree its a bit of a waste of time.
  20. Unless you luck into an Ohtani or Darvish year with the 1st pick. I've picked up some guys from the waiver that ended up as keepers. Matt Boyd for one. But smart in-season pickups have been of much more value.
  21. Encryted signals between catcher and pitcher does make sense.
  22. Bumping this. I think the 48 hrs waiver free for all (last paragraph) should be abolished. It doesn't make any sense. After the waiver draft just turn on the ability of each team to add free agents or make waiver claims, as per normal practice.
