  1. Well, my offer was Franco for Tucker and Luciano. Have no idea where Franco will play, with Seager at SS and Machado at 3B, just exploring the trade market.
  2. Not doing an auction. Make an offer if you think you have the goods. An OF upgrade on JD Davis and a top 100 prospect could do it.
  3. Spooge is happy Hendriks to the Chisox
  4. Rosenthal is out there
  5. Sure was, sorry Hurl In other news, I will have you folks know I offered the Wander Franco to another team. Waiting on a verdict.
  6. If he's not in the bullpen, Murphy is with the AAA team as SP depth. He likely is in the bullpen from the start, and I'd rather he be pitching in MLB all season, as long man/spot starter from the bullpen. That would not preclude him from joining the rotation at some later point. Merryweather SP depth in AAA.
  7. yes, most here have all learned not to question Ang's info
  8. Robles will be busy.
  9. Nope. MLB.com listed Cleveland as a contender, but an unlikely one, to sign Springer. Dark horse candidate.
  10. Cleveland has always been crafty. Replace the 28 yr old Lindor just before he hits free agency with a 22 yr old solid player with upside in Gimenez (and three other players), and sign a superstar (or elite at least) 30 yr old Springer for probably less than what Lindor would demand in a year. A much better outcome than retaining Lindor alone. The conventional thinking is they need to save money, I'm not so sure that's their motivation.
  11. Anyone think its possible with the Lindor trade, the Cleveland Baseball Team becomes a Springer suitor. They have more of a need for him then perhaps any team in MLB. And clearly have the salary room.
  12. Roark or Yamaguchi? Who do you pick?
  13. As if Yamaguchi is going to get consideration for the rotation. Crikey!
  14. More likely than not, SWR pitches for the Jays at some point in 2021. Do you know how many pitchers a team goes through in a season? Also, Callis and Mayo know far more about prospects and the reports from the 2020 alternate sites than you.
  15. Better let Jim Callis and Jonathon Mayo know.
  16. Disagree. Just on the basis of the core, including the young pitching, moving closer to their peak years, the Jays will improve in 2021, not be in same spot. Baseball teams are not static. Callis and Mayo expect SWR to debut in 2021 (Dec 31 article).
  17. Anyone seen any reports of Astros being in on Springer. They have Straw and Chas McCormick in their OF top 3 lol Got to figure at 5/115 the 'stros get into the bidding?
  18. A top 5 farm and a slightly better than .500 cost controlled team after the addition of a couple middle tier arms. It's a good place to be.
  19. Jays are in a good place whether they miss out on the high priced free agents or not. Shatkins seems to be taking the sustained winning approach, I'm good with it if they decide not to overpay for free agents and reduce future flexibility.
  20. What happened?
  21. Cleveland letting Hand go at 1 and 10 likely scared every other team off. Likely an arm issue. Doubt it was about saving money. If Cleveland was confident in Hand's health, they would have kept him as a nice deadline trade chip.
  22. BA reporting A and AA minor league seasons will be delayed. Not a surprise I suppose. A and AA players will start spring training after the MLB and AAA players have left the facility to start their seasons.
  23. More likely, it's to increase the versatility of the stadium. Concerts, etc.
