  1. Not at this point. But when this pandemic is over and the front load payments have been made, Springer will have trade value. Assuming his performance follows the expected trajectory.
  2. Hell of a gamble by the Rox if true. $50M isn't chump change. Cards already lining up endorsement deals for Arenado so he doesn't opt out.
  3. I've offered JD Davis for a 2022 2nd rounder. Anyone want to beat that, HMU. Pick or prospect only.
  4. 2019 was his return from TJS and was 15.1 innings. Disregard it.
  5. Nobody questioning the power, mate. Just whether he will get to it, in game. He's too f***ing good not to make the adjustment.
  6. Dominguez with the high maintenance body at 17 yrs old.
  7. I know it's last June, but he's gotten bigger, stronger. He's a beast.
  8. So apparently the A's floated the concept of a 1 yr, $12.5M contract for Semien, with $10M of the money deferred. Holy f***. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/01/athletics-rumors-semien-olson-chapman-fiers.html
  9. Let's make a deal in GORED, I need an OF upgrade
  10. 2nd in the list even worse than the 3rd, something "Gord", can't remember
  11. Law's list is always head scratching. He basically puts out the prospect list equivalent of granny porn. Only weirdo's get off on it. He has Cristian Pache 3rd lol
  12. Jays have significant flexibility within their starters. Semien and Bichette @ SS, the two of them, Biggio, Vlad @ 3B. Basically, if there is an injury, Grichuk comes off the bench and players get moved around. As a few posters mentioned earlier, Brad Miller is a nice target. Can play 3B, SS, 2B, OF adequately but more importantly has very good numbers against right handed pitching. Significant hitting splits, a guy you pencil into the lineup against tough righties and use for PH duties.
  13. 3D chess by Shatkins keeping Bauer off the AL rivals.
  14. Agreed, and I will throw Murphy into that depth list. Finally having extended period of good health and pitching well.
  15. Jays will have some innings limit for the year or target pitches / game limit for Pearson and will monitor Pearson carefully. Come postseason, as all teams do, Jays will take more risk and those limits will be relaxed. Trust in the Jays high performance team.
  16. Certainly at this point. But there is quite a good chance that among the various arms behind Ryu, one is going to emerge to be at least a solid mid rotation starter that will work as a playoff #2, with the offense doing the rest of the work. I expect at least one more offseason SP move.
  17. Hottest of hot takes.
  18. Again, 1 year of Matz @ $5M doesn't make a shred of difference on whether the Jays spend $160M over 6 years or whatever it is on Bauer.
  19. And with Walker, Jays could run with a 6 man rotation which may be wise given the limited innings last year.
  20. So right now the rotation is: Ryu Ray Pearson Matz Stripling But I suspect a few more moves this week. A trade and another FA signing. Hendriks and Walker.
  21. Find a way to suppress those HRs and he's a solid mid rotation guy.
  22. Matz pushes Roark down the SP depth chart. That's a good thing, right?
  23. There were good reports out of the alternate site on him. Can't remember where I was reading about it.
