    That may be part of it, I think the bigger reason for the high fastball effectiveness is the tunnelling/pitch design that's going on.

    Roboumps will go a long way in fixing the offence and may also reduce pitcher injuries, as command and a pitching arsenal will be more critical to get hitters out. Pitchers throwing maximum effort with limited command will be less effective.

    Been saying for a while now, Pearson should be used as a bulk reliever to ease him into the MLB grind. It's not a demotion, many great pitchers started out from the bullpen.

    Team morale, "togetherness", is overrated everywhere and probably the least of what one looks for when building a sports team. Plenty of baseball *******s have won World Series. Jackson and Martin were at each others throats half the time, and they still won. Actually the bigger the *******, the more hungry to beat the piss out of the other team.

    Pearson needs a few more reps to get comfortable before being subject to MLB hitters. Limit the risk of destroying the kid's confidence, we will need him in the 2nd half.

    Was down to 3 guys on the IL on Monday, 2 days later back up to 8 on the IL. The volume of injuries this year is brutal

    Soto not in the lineup again today. Just another reason for a universal DH. Every game played without a superstar is a loss for baseball.
