ST numbers don't mean a whole lot but McGonigle OPS is 1.302 after his double and triple today. Detroit must be thinking PPI. I expect he'll break camp with Tigers and play regularly.

8 seasons, 6.2 WAR. His command of his 92 mph fastball in 2025, and .267 BABIP against, may or may not hold. Projection systems are skeptical, projecting 0.1 to 0.3 WAR.

Lauer isn't worth finding a middle ground for. Bad business for a team to be splitting the difference with replacement level players. With those guys, its take it or leave it.

Ok but you essentially said he should accept the Varsho bet because of some "guy code". I'm certainly not going to act against my interest based on some unwritten code.

Nah, the Clement bet does not obligate Jaysblue to take the Varsho bet. If Spanky wanted to even out his odds, he should have made a Varsho bet a condition of the Clement bet. He did not, and he alone is responsible for his actions.

Williams is strong defensively, and versatile. Should be a very useful player for the Brewers.

I don't think the Jays made a serious offer to Bo. Might have given him an offer, but it was no where close to what he signed for.
