Been a lot of claims during this pandemic that have been proven to be ********. Yes there are short term reactions to the vaccine affecting a tiny percentage, like 0.01% or less. Whereas long covid affects some 10-20% of those that got covid infections. If Didi had some type of medical complication its far more likely to be due to something other than the vaccine, including something completely unrelated to covid. Insidethepark covered it. Basically experienced players that would be at A+ have been cut in favour of less experienced projects / prospects that in previous years would be playing at a lower level. -
A #1 is not the same as an ace, brosoff. Mets have two aces in Scherzer and DeGrom. Most teams have none. But every team has a #1.

Dumn. A+ hitters will swing at s*** MLB hitters won't even sniff, Bo Bichette aside. Mitch White struck out 11.41/9 as a 22 yr old in A+. Frasso a bit higher but don't forget MiLB has been contracted, so the overall level of talent in A+ today is less than it was when Mitch White pitched in A+. -
Atkins would have been fired if he traded for a player that couldn't play in TO. Hilarious that anyone actually thought this.

With Soto, Machado, Bell in that order all scoring runs in the 1st. If that SP staff pitches to its capabilities, this team has to be the WS favourite. Even if FTJ doesn't come back this season.

Yes, this is typical for snowbirds. A trip every few weeks to the mega-liquor store for wine, occasional trip to the beach. Not much else to do unless kids / theme parks.

Canucks go mainly for the weather, ones with kids for Disney. If you ask them, they will say they love the weather but Florida itself is meh.

And what team has the lowest BABIP league wide? I would hazard to guess that biased umpiring has influence on the results. edit - and Toronto has the 3rd highest BABIP league wide in 2022. Was high in 2021 also. The Trop results are an outlier.

Florida great weather, and like all tourism destinations, lots of things to do / eat at. Traffic is a goddamn nightmare.
