Debatable. If you have better ideas on SP depth acquisition, say it.

I'm well aware. White was not acquired to be a starter, but a swingman. SP depth was and remains a significant problem that Sanchez would help address.

We should snap up Sanchez now that Stripling is going on the IL. Sanchez is better than Hatch or whoever other emergency starter is in the org. It was a fail to not acquire a #4/5 starter at the deadline.

A- The moves were fine, but a big need was an SP and that didn't happen. Gaining Mitch White, losing Max Castillo a bit of a wash. Jays SP depth still very weak

2B/CF He's solid average with a lot of speed. .266 babip this year has deflated his numbers. Here's hoping his luck changes and he's above average the rest of the year.

Agreed 100%. I'd rather Stripling back in the bullpen as a shutdown long reliever and SP insurance.

Contreras a better hitter than Jansen. We can't go into 2023 with all of Kirk, Moreno, Jansen on the roster. Rent the better hitter Contreras for the remainder of the season.

I expect both at the Trop. It's SOP to give players a bit of time, but then they usually show up ahead of time.

2020 148 wRC+ in AA 118 wRC+ in AAA, but note the unlucky .248 BABIP 20 HR, 10% BB rate, 16% K rate across the two levels..... this is a good hitter
