  1. That's the thing about having Pillar out there, especially in close games.
  2. For sure. However, pitcher still has to hit his spots. Had he missed lower with the fastballs inside or over the plate with the changeups, Davis would've crushed one. Really good stuff.
  3. Why bring Loup in to face Machado? Game-tying HR coming up?
  4. Neither do I, but pitch count could get him yanked. Remember, #it's early.
  5. He will go max 6. Even in NY where he was hardly in trouble, he only went 6.
  6. He has. If Navarro was involved in some of these plays, yikes!
  7. We'll see. I didn't see many fastballs above 93, even in the first. We'll see how it goes.
  8. Bautista's had a couple of horrible ones, but hey, Travis is there to help us out...
  9. Looks like OF's are having trouble with liners straight at them...we'll take it!
  10. Threw another one and the ump gave him a strike or was it the catcher...
  11. I don't think Gose would've any issues with that liner...
  12. Exactly my thoughts on Sanchez last night, but hope not on either one.
  13. Great problem to have. Between Bautista being 35, Saunders being injury-prone and Pompey being a rookie, there'll be plenty of playing time for Pillar. Beats the heck outta having Sierra as the 4th OF.
  14. It helps when pitchers leave pitches in the middle of the plate.
  15. My sources tell me Michael Saunders was taken out of the Dunedin game after 1 AB, looking for more details.
