That's the thing about having Pillar out there, especially in close games.

For sure. However, pitcher still has to hit his spots. Had he missed lower with the fastballs inside or over the plate with the changeups, Davis would've crushed one. Really good stuff.

Great problem to have. Between Bautista being 35, Saunders being injury-prone and Pompey being a rookie, there'll be plenty of playing time for Pillar. Beats the heck outta having Sierra as the 4th OF.
