  1. Fire Rivera already, why in the world even send Travis to third.
  2. This is why I thought MLB would make a statement by suspending Herrera, but then MLB acted like MLB.
  3. I was thinking MLB would suspend Herrera for 25 games so "send a message", lol, but they only gave him 5. They do need to find a way to deter all these beanballs. Maybe they should start by not warning the team that starts the craziness.
  4. Pillar's fine as a 4th OF. I'm actually willing to sell high on him if some GM (Stewart) is willing to give up something nice.
  5. And you suck farts! Come on it's a blowout, gotta stir it up a bit. cf
  6. Also, I'm surprised the O's haven't thrown at Navarro for sliding spikes up into 3rd.
  7. So Sanchez will feel the O's vengeance tomorrow, just like in Baltimore. All good since the Jays will probably get shut out.
  8. Such is life with rookies...
  9. Boyd's final line: 5IP, 0H, 0R, 3BB, 6K, 81 pitches thrown.
  10. I wonder if MLB will suspend this Herrera character for throwing at a player's head and openly threatening to do it again...lol.
  11. Matt Boyd so far: 3IP, 0H, 0R, 2BB, 4K. Message to King: Don't jinx this boyd please.
  12. The pitch seemed suspiciously right into Travis's body, but you're probably right. Miller did throw high and inside to Bautista later on in the game, which is when I got home. Anyway, all good.
  13. Lol, his foot is clearly on top of the bag, I paused the video in that exact moment. Regardless, runners slide hard into 2b all the time and to say that YOU KNOW Lawrie was trying to injure Escobar is ridiculous. Go watch the slide by Dejesus on Travis last week against the Jays. s*** happens. And Lawrie took the retaliation and went to 1B. I can understand the Royals throwing at Lawrie once, but twice is classless IMO. Not only that, but the 2nd time was around Lawrie's head. Hard slide, retaliation ensued, should've ended there. Anyway...
  14. Probably, but Bautista hotdogged it against Johnson Saturday and Miller's a true Card, don't forget that!
  15. Did anyone post the update on Travis? Sorry in advance if already posted:
  16. I get that, but that would be one way to disguise it. I also expect the O's to throw at Bautista in the upcoming series for his antics after the HR off O'day. We'll see what happens.
  17. It would be great to have a GM that can manage quick rebuilds, but those don't grow on trees. Also, deciding to trade "older stars for high end prospects" is a decision that isn't made by the Blue Jays GM, ownership would have to sign off on it because of the pr hit the team would have to be willing to take. Now, when AA took over, there was 1 established "older star". That being Roy Halladay and the process of trading him had started before AA was hired. Yes, AA is not a great GM, probably average, give or take.
  18. He will, gotta stick with them. He's been having trouble with liners right at him and has even been turned around some deeeeep flyouts.
  19. Just saw Travis's HBP and it looks to me like Miller was trying to hit him?
  20. First basemen don't set their foot on top of the bag, they touch it with the side of their foot. Anyway, we all agree Lawrie's a douchebag, but he's actually looking pretty classy compared with the Royalz
  21. No doubt in my mind Miller threw at Bautista today for his antics after hitting the homer yesterday. It's all part of the game, like hard slides like the one on Travis by Debabyjeesus.
  22. SRF: 2.2, 1 H, 3 BB, 4 K. Not much else going on.
  23. Pompey's gotten turned around on a few fly balls since the season started, I guess it caught up to him today.
  24. LOL, no. Escobar's foot was on top of the bag, not like a 1B positions his foot, you know, with the side of the foot touching the bag only. That's what he shouldv'e done. It was a hard slide, not unlike Dejesus's on Travis this past week. And yes, Lawrie's a goof, but these slides happen all the time. However, we know Mexicans are notorious for being emotional (just look at angrioter). Anyway, move on...
