  1. 2:30-hr game
  2. I wonder what his defence is like at 1b
  3. Donaldson trying to lead this franchise out of its misery...with his cock
  4. Buehrle should have retired after the first inning
  5. They're just closet Goins fans
  6. Saskjaysfan at target field
  7. I agree to some extent. They just seemed to desperate to make moves it's as if AA was told, "go out and improve this team and do not strike out". If you look at AA's prior MLB acquisitions, for the most part, they were guys who were under-valued and fit a long-term strategy (Morrow, Escobar, Rasmus).
  8. If true, this tells us how freakin' powerful The Beest is.
  9. I always thought Mohammed's retirement after the 2013 season coupled with the "3-year window" coinciding with The Beest's had something to do with how desperate this F/O acted after the 2012 season.
  10. If the franchise had proper long-term planning from the very top, they either would've nixed the Marlins trade (and fired the GM for eve proposing it) or should've foreseen where the payroll would be for 2014 and 2015 and been prepared to make additional investments. This is in no way to take accountability away from AA. Could anyone here see the Cards' president or owner authorizing a deal like the Marlins without being prepared to make additional investments if needed? Anyway...
  11. I think Saunders was in there at home plate celebratin'. Just imagine...
  12. Eaton singles in 8th, Sanchez scores and Eaton goes to 2nd on the throw home from Colabello which went over the the cut-off man. Next batter hits a grounder to SS that Reyes dove for and kept in the IF. I would argue that had Eaton not been allowed to advance to 2nd Reyes would've been more towards the hole thus in a better position to get to that gb. On the replay, you can see Reyes trying to keep Eaton close to 2B. There were missed DP's earlier in the game as well, even from Donaldson. Anyway, overall, yes, the pitching has been bad, but there were several misplays by the defense in this game that led to runs being scored.
  13. I give Hoffman 5 starts to work out the rust. Sort of like Osuna last season.
  14. Raising both arms like that is a good sign in terms of how his shoulder feels.
  15. Where's the guy that's been whining 'bout losing Graveman?
  16. So ya think, this Dylan character for MVP or is it too early?
  17. Yeah, but maybe Gibbons already lost confidence in Delabar after he gave up the lead mid-week against the Angels? Anyway, this is not a game that bothers me that much because they fully deserve to lose it.
  18. Jays deserve this loss. Even Dickey made a bad throw to 2B costing himself a dp. I must say though, I was shocked Carrera didn't come in as a defensive replacement in the 8th. I was also shocked Delabar didn't come in to pitch in the 8th. Anyway, well deserved Jays.
  19. Haha, if you divide 52/2 as I think they're +26. *tied for 2nd-best run differential.
  20. Weren't the Red Sox supposed to be the greatestest and deepestest team in history or something? Watch them go on a huge run now.
  21. I think their record is depressing. Their run differential is encouraging. Travis's return next week will be encouraging. Bautista's health is depressing. Starting rotations' last few outings are encouraging. We'll see what happens.
