    Agreed. I mentioned this on some other thread. I think it's gone from 8% in 2013 to 6% last year to 2% in 90 PA's this year. It's really a waste of time though, he's not going anywhere.

    Yeah, tons of excitement. One reason was because some posters were fooled into thinking Rogers was opening up the wallet and would make more money available if needed. Anyway, too late now.

    So the Jays have confirmed Bautista will return to RF tomorrow in Washington. Who would bet against JB ending up on DL?

    Anyone who thinks the Jays will move Reyes off SS is just kidding him/herself. They won't even replace him late in games so there goes that suggestion. Time wasted.

    Either Bautista starts playing the OF or they need to call up either Pompey or Dickerson and shore this bitch up. On the other hand Gibbons was playing Navarro over Smoak early in the year so who knows...

    I agree. Sometimes though, you need it pointed out to you. Maybe pulling him out of the game after a 2nd baserunning gaffe might wake him up and realize that he's lost a step or 2.

    There's no accountability on this team. Reyes was thrown out at 3B the other day and was thrown out again at 2B today yet nothing is done about it. Fire a coach or someteeng. Or take him out of the game, like I sort of suggested upthread. Hey, it would've saved a run. The OF situation is just pure dumbness by AA.

    Would it be dumb to suggest sitting down a player for dumb plays? preferably Pillar, but maybe Reyes would carry more weight.

    Don't know this for a fact, but Hoffman was taken out with a low pitch count as he threw only around 35 pitches in his last 4 innings. Let's say he had 20 in the 1st, chich is probably high, but that would still leave him at around 55 for the game. They must be saving bullets for a late-season call-up
