It's just one win. They've gotten to 7 games under several times before just to fall back to 9 or 10 under, most recently against these Rangers last Sunday when they had a chance to sweep, took a 4-0 lead only to blow it and go on to lose the next 2 games.

Speaking of Kawasaki, I'd rather keep Kawasaki than Bonifacio/Izturis if/when Reyes comes back, but AA has already said that Kawasaki is going down.

There's also no reason for him and others to change much since they get away with it. I've said this before, given the way this team was unprepared to start the year, there needed to be a shake up in the form of a benching, demotion, a rant in the clubhouse making or something else to get their attention, but nothing happened, all AA and Gibby said was 'it's early, this is a good ball club, these guys have a track record'.

That at bat was like the JPA AB against Rodney. Bottomline is that this has been going on all season, but since no one has paid any price for such lack of fundamentals, there's no incentive to change anything. They needed to send a message earlier in the season to get the players' attention, but all AA and Gibby say is 'it's early, this is a good ball club, these guys have a track record'. Anyway, joke's on me for watching them like an idiot.

This team needed someone to stand up and rip them apart in that clubhouse or make an example out of someone, a benching a DFA'ing, but it's too late now so let's just enjoy the rest of the season....at least Wang is pitching tomorrow

What was your prediction coming into the year. I for one, said 90-72 or 92-70 don't remember exactly. I'm not saying don't fire him, but I don't think anyone expected the whole team to underperform at the same time like they did in April. Injuries happen, but the terrible April really killed them.

Well, I'm not going to defend JJ, but last time he pitched he went 7 and the team scored 1 run. The offense needs to get to Grimm as well and a good LF catches that flyball that went for a 2b. JJ struggled from the get-go, but the offense has been bad except for 1 inning with 2 outs.
