I always felt that they were going through some unlucky games during the last 13 games of the season. They blew a game against the Yanks and O's in the 9th and 1 against the Red Sox in the 7th or 8th. They went 8-5 but could have been 9-4 or 10-3 during those games. Stay calm. -
I don't see a conflict between making a profit and fielding a contending team. In fact, they go hand in hand. If the team can continue to acquire good players which allow it to contend and make a profit, all the power to them. I'm sure they'll make a fair market offer to EE and/or Bautista. If a team wants to offer 3+ years at over 20M/year, then let them go and take the pick. Or maybe they re-sign 1 and replace the other with 1 or 2 players that are younger and provide a more all-around game. We'll see what happens.

Relax. F/O will let the market set the price. At this point, it doesn't look like Bautista will much more than 2-3 years and I would think the same for EE. I also expect the F/O to buy low on guys like Liriano from teams looking to dump salaries. Let's see what happens.

Not that anyone cares but Davidi was clearly joking given that he had just run out Stroman's numbers against 3rd time through the order. Anyway, O's BP against Jays'.

It goes to show you how things work out in baseball- Stroman got away with a hanger to Trumbo on that last AB yet gave up a HR on a pitch right on the low inside corner even though I didn't think it was good pitch to throw in that situation. As Donaldson continues to look like crap. And EE.

Team should be f***ing thankful they tied it thanks to a missed catch by Bourne. To be fair, Saunders would have scored on that blooper by Carrera. I don't see how Saunders cost them the lead when Bourned made a similar catch on a Tulo FB earlier in the game and had a beat on this one all the way.

Baseball is so frustrating...new pitcher and they swing at a tough first pitch. Not easy of course.
