    Well, maybe Gibbons knows Travis is a cancer to his team and that's why he's slotting him 9th in the order despite being the team's 4th or 5th best hitter so far this season. Maybe being short is a cancer although Pedroia certainly has lost a lot of hair for a guy in his early 30's (?)...

    They keep using him vs RH batters in those situations...I thought that's what Ryan Tepera was for.

    You may be on someteeng there. Same thing happened with Jays after Travis came back. Remember they won 11 in a row without little Travis.

    My guess would be that Gibbons asked for Sanchez to be moved to pen and I think BD tweeted a quote from Gibbons about winning games when they have a lead. How about using your relievers properly Gibby?

    I think this bullpen is solid and cheap, but I could be mistaken. They're using Hendriks as a long reliever and Tepera as a high-leverage guy. Misuse is a problem.

    Maybe he will be used as a multiple inning type of guy? I'd prefer that he be kept in minors to develop as SP, but they gave up on developing him last season when they promoted him without really deserving it.

    I really hope AA realizes he got some nice BP pieces already, they're just being used incorrectly. He added Hendriks, Schultz and Osuna.

    It's even dumber to not use Hendriks. Oh well, not like it corrects his bad BP management.

    Also, as good as Schultz has been, he's now only pitched 5 fewer innings than Brett Cecil, who was trusted to be the closer coming into the year. Anyway, me don't want to see this team trading away more young talent unless it's a great return that serves the team in the present and future.

    Also, typical of Jays' season, team has outscored TB 8-5 yet is tied in series.
