    Jays' pitching was really good this series. If it wasn't for bad management on Friday and a sinker that didn't sink from Sanchez, team may have won the series. Still, 4-2 vs Yankees and 12-2 in last 14. Good road trip and team could be approaching 15 games over .500.

    Victim of Gibbons's BP mismanagement. He hasn't pitched much lately so at least get him in some games regularly.

    As far as the offense is concerned, past week has been tough and they have pitching to thank for the streak to a large extent. It shouldn't be a surprise though since the bottom of the order includes Goins, Pillar and Revere. Might be time to call up Pompey to work on a platoon with Pillar and Revere, but probably won't happen.

    For the record, Sanchez was definitely "rushed". I don't think he mastered Dunedin or NH or Buffalo.

    Not scared at all, just pointing out how intense it'll be. Going 4-2 on the homestand might be enough to take over 1st place.

    Yankees will be looking for revenge next weekend. It's setting up to be crazy, but there are 3 games against the A's. I'd be happy with winning both series 2-1.

    I think they're averaging 33K since the trades. I think you could see an average of 35-40K for the remaining games. Hopefully, all drunk on rum.

    With the pitching depth the team was building for 2016 now traded away, I think the team may look to deal Pillar or Pompey for a young SP. Ideally, you'd want Revere or Saunders traded, but we know Saunders's value is close to 0 and Revere may not get you much so that leaves Pillar and Pompey.

    EE is banged up. Martin caught yesterday afternoon after a night game on Friday. It is what it is. Team is also missing Travis and Pillar needs to come out of his funk.

    Check out Stroman's twitter page to see pictures of his rehab to get a better idea of how it has gone. It's been 5 months since he injured the knee so what makes anyone think that he's rushing or being rushed by the team to come back this season?

    I really like Hutchison and think he'll turn it around, or his luck will turn around. However, I remember reading an article that pointed out that he has a real problem pitching out of the stretch. I think I remember his BB% and K% being pretty bad from the stretch. Anyway....

    The question is, what isn't worrisome to you? Earlier you wanted Price to just walk McCann to avoid getting crushed by him, for example. Maybe some posters are not ready for a playoff race.

    I agree. Plus, I look at it as a combination of moves. By trading Lind, they got Estrada. By trading Happ, they got Saunders. By signing Smoak they gave themselves some depth at 1B while improving the D. Result: Estrada replaced Happ. Saunders plugged the LF hole and Smoak helped them at 1B. Now, Saunders has been injured, but they didn't get him for just 1 year, he'll be back next year. All this with a lower payroll than it would've cost to retain Lind, Happ and to sign a LF.

    So I gather the playoffs will be easy to make since we're making WS plans?

    Plus, Lind = 1.9 fWAR at 7.5M vs Estrada = 1.6 fWAR at 4M. Every million counts
