    So far, the Jays have gotten it right with Bo instead of Guilmet, for example...I'm sure Bo is the only one who knows though.

    That Reyes popup with bases juiced also didn't help matters. Nor did Bautista's failure to advance the runners when he hit with guys at 2nd and 3rd and 0 outs.

    Observation, while Colabello is terrible and shouldn't be in LF, I thought Valencia should've definitely cut off that throw in the 6th. Firstly, you prevent the runners from advancing and 2nd, the throw was clearly off-line. Anyway, this team never learns when it comes to defense.

    2 things about Carrera not running to 2B on the final play of game: 1. it was a one-hop liner to SS. He was probably not sure if it would be caught in the air. If he had taken off on contact and doubled off at 1b, he might be getting criticized all the same. 2. The ball was hit hard by Valencia. You combine the 2, it's possible it was one of those plays. It does look bad, but if true that he gave up, he's not the only player on this team not to run hard on plays.

    To be clear, I ain't blaming Gibby for the loss. I just would've brought in a righty to face Abreu. Although, who knows who was even available.

    What was meant by "better balls" is pitches closer to the edges of the strike zone which would help him get more swings and misses. Anyway...

    He got Escobar, didn't he? You think he didn't know he was a good player? AA was told to get rid of Escobar because of PR reasons (hint: the homophobic slur). This is not to say that I was for the Marlins trade, but why would the Marlins want Escobar when they were getting Hech? Answer: They didn't and quickly sent him to the Rays. Anyway...
