  1. Apparently, Osuna was warmed up.
  2. So you mean awful?
  3. I think the key for ownership is that the team is always good enough to draw enough fans to either the RC and/or to watch on TV.
  4. Biggest issue for me is that they find ways to lose games. Now, it may all turn around, but they just seem to take themselves out of innings on offense or make errors at the wrong time. Or put the wrong relievers in the wrong spots.
  5. Have you checked what the Blue Jays have done apart from that winning streak?
  6. The following info was stolen from another forum, but here's the Jays record after 100 games since 2007: 2015 50-50 2014 51-49 2013 45-55 2012 51-49 2011 50-50 2010 51-49 2009 49-51 2008 49-51 2007 50-50
  7. Misused though. Same with Hendriks, Cecil and Schultz.
  8. Someone posted that Goins is 3-5 vs Walker so maybe that's why Gibbons went with Travis. Now, if that's the reason or a large part of it, why the f*** ask the guy to bunt if you're giving him a start in large part because he hit Walker well in 5 AB's? Anyway...
  9. I wouldn't, but that's fine if you would. I ask because Carrasco didn't seem to have crazy stats in the minors, is 28 and has never pitched more than 134 innings in a MLB season. Of course, he's about to surpass that this season, but just saying that some use the fact that Stroman only pitched well for 130 innings last year against him. Anyway...
  10. No one here believed the Jays would get Donaldson, especially for the package they gave up. Had AA not asked about him, he wouldn't have gotten him.
  11. Who would trade Stroman for Carrasco?
  12. Royals are 10 games over .500 and leading their division, they think this move makes them WS contenders. We'll see what happens.
  13. That's fine. I just wish they would give Reyes a day off here and there, wasn't it their plan to rest him more this year? It might benefit him and the team to let him recharge his batteries for a game or 2 a week, but then again, Goins can't stick so...
  14. I'd rather the F/O stand pat than end up with another s***** trade. Regardless, I was replying to TwistedLogic's question, in bold below: And again, to me, that's too much to give up. Now, in terms of how desperate the F/O is, I don't really know for sure, but I'd like to think that AA isn't desperate enough to not realize that making another s***** trade would jeopardize his chances of a future GM job with another org. Anyway, we'll see what happens...
  15. I posted what I wanted, but I do respect others' opinions. If you don't care what I think, don't reply to my post, especially with insults. Have a nice life.
  16. So Colabello and Carrera's clutch hits yesterday basically guarantee them another month of PT in LF.
  17. This team is 1 game over .500, I'd temper my WS title thoughts.
  18. It would be interesting to find out who the Reds would've received from Royals.
  19. That's too much for me. I'm not desperate to win this year though, others might be. I'd rather get a lesser name, trade Navarro, call up Pompey, maybe even Norris and see what happens. I want the farm system left nearly untouched and sign a FA SP in winter. It's not like this team is 10 games over .500. Not worth it IMO.
  20. Gibbons said he'd get him an inning in this game so he has to keep his word regardless of the leverage index.
  21. So Jays are looking for what they traded away? I guess they should've been patient with the farm system ey? I hope ownership wakes the heck up.
  22. Jays are like a more responsible Padres front office? Well, that's encouraging...
  23. I wonder what Pillar could fetch in a trade.
