I hope so. KS does seem to have a good relationship with him. I remember one time he got a hit on a high fastball that was out of the strike zone and the SN camera focused on KS and it showed him telling Cabrera that that was a bad pitch to swing at. We'll see what happens... -
I actually prefer it when division rivals lose in close games. I just think teams try to rebound after getting blown out. Of course, it helps that Tanaka is starting on Tuesday.

That's true. I think Graveman was promoted from Lansing to Dunedin earlier in the year so at least that's one.

Good win even though they had some chances to score a couple more. One thing I keep mentioning is Cabrera's BA falling into the .290 range. His hacking ways are bringing him down to earth.

As expected, Norris promoted after the ASG. Well deserved, he's been on a roll since mid 2013. What I want to know is why Cole hasn't been promoted. He's been dominant and is older so I figure they'd be aggressive with him? Guess not.

I disagree. The platoon is Francisco against RHP and Tolleson against LHP, which doesn't apply today. Gibbons is trying to shore up the defense with Tolleson at 2B, but what I don't get is Navarro over Francisco at DH.

Thing is Navarro ain't much better if at all. The guy is horrible at the plate. As I said, it's a bad 6-9 anyway so I guess it doesn't matter, I just can't stand watching Navarro hit. At least Francisco can hit a bomb while Navarro brings nothing offensively.

Shore up the D, but why is Navarro at DH over Francisco? Who cares I guess, it's a terrible 6-9 in the order anyway...

Apparently, Lind is out for today's game and Francisco sits. This means Tolleson is in at 2B and Navarro is at DH. I guess Gibbons prefers the slow as hell, slap-hitting, terrible-hitting Navarro to the power Francisco brings. When's the last time Navarro did anything worthwhile on offense? At least Francisco can jack one out and with Lind out, it would seem like a better fit. I guess not. Who cares anyway, Gibbons is not to be criticized.
