I can see us grabbing the third seed and getting trolled by a bad bobcats team in the first round. Id probably rather face the Hawks with a healthy Hortford ( even know he aint coming back) than face that team.

Well he's going to make the all star team and has emerged as a legit 2 tier pg in the league. Resigning him in the off season is a must.

Kris Bryant is an absolute stud as a fantasy prospect. Stil has a chance to stay at third and is going to be hitting at Wrigley with what looks like will be a stacked lineup in a few years

Another great game by the guys. I really want to see what this team can do in the playoffs with another impact wing to pair with DeRozan and Ross. I have such mixed feelings about Casey at this point though. The team seems to respond to him and has bought into his system, but he can't run a functional offense in crunch time which is going to kill them come playoff time. There were way to many DeRozan's Iso's in the 4th quarter. Either use pindowns and ball screens for him or run the offense through Lowry exclusively. Demar's ball handling leaves a lot to be desired.

Just an FYI to a the teams having quality sp or positional as their 21st guys, I'll be looking to acquire one either through a draft pick swap or mid to late pick a week before the cut down date.

SF. Put Ross on the bench and get another 2 way player who can shoot the ball well to stick next to DeRozan. Salmons+ our pick should net someone decent with all the teams in the East tanking. Thad Young/Aaron Afalio (sp)

The only team id be worried about in the 1st round would be the Wiz with a healthy squad. Atlanta just lost their best player like you said and the rest (including the bobcats) are pretty garbage. Id even be okay with giivng up our 1st at this point since it looks like it will be around the 18-20 range if the impact wing coming back was signed for next year as well. I actually read recently thast Aaron Afalio projects to win his team on average 5 more games per year than Derozan. He'd be a great target as well

It was obvious from the start that they weren't going to outtank the very bottom feeders of the league but I never saw how much losing Gay would benefit the team. May as well go out and get a Thadeus Young to try and win a playoff series.

Haha I was watching Moneyball last night. The most ironic part about that whole scene was that the A's were supposed to be about finding wins using advanced stats, meanwhile advanced stats would tell you that adding a reliever at the deadline should be at the bottom on his list of priories, not calling 20 different GM's for one. It was also a very subtle jab at Ed Wade and im not even sure if it was intended that way, but Beane asking a prospect in exchange for someone on his team and Wade basically admitting that he had no idea who the prospect actually was made me laugh. -
