1. Jordan Groshans has been shut down for the remainder of the season. Well, that sucks.
2. JFL is going to be very distraught if we get sniped here. I may even tear up a bit myself.
3. I had nothing but coffee.
4. To be honest, it was not the kind of trade I was looking for, so I thought I'd wait to see if any offers trickled in that were more in line with what I was hoping to accomplish. I had a couple other nibbles, but this was the one I liked the best.
5. Guys, I think... I think my team is positioned for a big year next year.
6. Confirmed. I'm going to promote Bo Bichette to make room on my farm for Madrigal.
7. Holy f***, boys, we are moving.
8. That trade from earlier today is Gallegos for Urquidy + Dinger's 1st. I can update the sheet later this evening if it hasn't already been done by that time.
9. And that they're pitchers.
10. Nobody's interested in actually good starting goalie Philipp Grubauer? Okay.
11. Alright, everyone. Here's our cross-over episode with Jay Bird Watching Podcast: https://bluejaysaggr.com/go/161937 Brendan Panikkar and Craig Borden are joined by Mike and Alan of RadioScouts.com to sift through the Toronto Blue Jays trade deadline moves. Plus we have the arrival of Bo Bichette and the Jays offense to discuss! All this and more on this week's episode of Jay Bird Watching.
12. People may want to get offers in quickly on Gallegos and Lowe.
13. As for the prospect draft, we're promoting Quinn Hughes and cutting Rasmus Asplund and Joshua Ho-Sang. This should give us the ability to use all 5 of our picks.
14. If anyone is interested, these are the guys we're considering cutting from our team:

Oliver Bjorkstrand

Dominik Kahun or Pavel Buchnevich

Kyle Palmieri

Sami Niku

Ryan Pulock

Nate Schmidt

Colin Delia

We'll accept pick upgrades for them. We're also willing to swing something a little bit bigger. Also, we'll trade Philipp Grubauer to a team looking for a goalie. What we'd really like to do is move Grubauer and Palmieri together for one forward.
15. Yeah, this one was really good. Actually, I'm very happy with all three of the ones we've done so far.
16. On the block for the trade deadline: Giovanny Gallegod (part-time god, part-time top-10 reliever in baseball) Taylor Trammell (top 30 prospect, people love him, great personality) MacKenzie Gore (best pitching prospect in baseball and for good reason; filthy numbers) Brandon Lowe (127 wRC+) Christian Walker (114 wRC+, barrels baseballs at a fantastic rate; probably legit breakout and still only 28) Garrett Richards (on a rehab assignment, only 31) Mike Tauchman (127 wRC+, 28 y/o) Jordan Luplow (118 wRC+, 25 y/o) And allow me try to sell you on some other relievers I have available: Yoshihisa Hirano (5 holds in last 13 appearances, with a 13.06 K/9 and 3.48 ERA/3.31 FIP/3.58 xFIP) Andrew Kittredge (looks like a stud) ----> https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=12828&position=P Scott Barlow (kind of want to hang on to him, but will move him if I get a worthwhile asset or can package him for an upgrade; stud) Joe Kelly (numbers over the past two months: 13.26 K/9, 3.79 BB/9, 68.2 GB%, 1.89 ERA/2.38 FIP/2.62 xFIP; goddamn!) Buck Farmer (good numbers, though I kind of doubt anyone will give me anything for him: https://www.fangraphs.com/statsd.aspx?playerid=14814&position=P&gds=&gde=&season=) A.J. Cole (numbers are decent with some upside, probably my cheapest reliever; would accept a pick upgrade for him) I would love to consolidate a few assets, preferably targeting your young talent that is either on the cusp of making the majors or just breaking in. I'm offering some good stuff, so give me a can't-miss guy and we will make something happen. Whether or not you acquire some of these guys could make or break your championship run. Hit me up. Looking to make a bit of a splash. Relievers, except for Gallegos and Barlow, can be had for pick upgrades. Alternatively, could package a couple together, possibly with another player, for a more worthwhile upgrade.
17. That's what you think.
18. No, we're not a bunch of oversensitive pussies.
19. Chavez Young and Kevin Smith have been hitting well in the past few weeks.
20. Mine must've gotten lost in the mail.
