  2. The Cardinals' broadcast team is balls.

  4. I still haven't been able to quit him even though I probably should have twice over.
  5. Man, Teoscar flashes some tantalizing skills at times. One of the more frustrating Blue Jays to watch in recent seasons.
  6. Man, Drury flashes some tantalizing skills at times. One of the more frustrating Blue Jays to watch in recent seasons.
  7. Yes, there's nothing like making a bunch of outs from the left side of the plate.
  8. Speaking of Dasan Brown, I figured posting this here would be a good idea: Radio Scouts Podcast: Prospect Special #3 https://tinyurl.com/y2t99e4m Listen up! We're back to discuss the Blue Jays' farm system and hope that you join us for Prospect Special #3. We talk Bo Bichette at length, then discuss the Blue Jays on the recent BA Top 100 and some of the notable players in the BA Blue Jays' Org 30 including Jordan Groshans and opine how close Alek Manoah, Alejandro Kirk, and Gabriel Moreno may be to breaking on to the Top 100. We also have a conversation about Cal Stevenson. Lastly, we debut a new mailbag segment with some content on Maximo Castillo, Patrick Murphy, assignments of Manoah, Kendall Williams, and Dasan Brown, as well as some players to watch in the second half. Thanks for listening! With BlueRocky and I
  9. I wish, but Gavin Lux is immovable.

  11. Waiting to see who the two prospects are going back.
  12. Uhhh...J.P. Crawford might be an okay defender.
  13. What an egregious call.
  14. ^ Didn't click the link.
  15. How many Francos exactly, though? Wander + James + Dave?
  16. I agree with most of this except that Heyman, despite all of his shortcomings, is one of the best there is for breaking news first.
  17. Derek Holland to the Cubs.
  18. I see right through you, Jon. It's been widely reported that the Nats are seeking bullpen help and that the Jays are shopping Giles and Hudson. Jon Morosi's "source" is just the high probability that the two teams would have had some sort of preliminary discussion at this point as potential matches on a possible trade.
  19. HAS THIS REALLY BEEN A SLOW TRADE DEADLINE? YES. That wasn’t hard. We hear complaints most every summer about a lack of action, but this time they’re legit. But just what kind of a lull are we talking about? How slow has it been? https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/07/has-this-really-been-a-slow-trade-deadline.html
  20. Honestly, I'd say they're not set. Obviously, they have probably the best 1-2 punch in baseball in Cole and Verlander, but if they want to give themselves the best chance to potentially beat the Yankees and win a World Series this year, it's a pretty precipitous drop-off to Wade Miley as their #3. After that, as a subsequent result of injuries and underperformance, they currently have Jose Urquidy and Framber Valdez to round out their rotation. Stroman would be the perfect fit for the Astros and they have some really interesting pieces to part with in trade.
  21. Ah, this is likely.
  22. BlueRocky and I recorded a prospect special a few days ago that I'm working on getting published, hopefully before bed tonight.
