  1. Love the aggressive ranking on Meadows!
  2. I feel like this team will be virtually indifferent to last year's, assuming similar health. Of course, we can't assume that, but for comparisons' sake...
  3. I'm actually going to include the top 100 of this list in my prospect list composite rankings.
  4. As an owner in #LOD, I concur with your sentiments.
  5. I was really hoping you'd come through with the BA scouting report. Thanks!
  6. A fantasy top 100 might be more useful anyway.
  7. Would there be enough interest here in crowd-sourcing a top 100 prospects list, in very much the same way we did the top Jays prospects? Edit: Because of the daunting nature of putting together such a list, we could give ample time (Feb. 28th, for example) for list submissions.

  9. Lol. I guess I should be trading Moncada for a haul while I still can.

  12. Here's another little blurb on Mendoza from Feb. 2015, where he was ranked ahead of Norge Ruiz, Lourdes Gurriel, and Cionel Perez: 2- Hector Mendoza (RHP). Isla de la Juventud. (20) 1.90m / 80kg Mendoza was in Japan in 2014 and the Asian discipline has helped him a lot. He is a possible closer with a 98mph fastball and a violent slider above 84mph. His rivals only bat for .228 in Cuba with 1 HR in 4 seasons. His ability to maintain the ball inside the stadium will provide him more value in the near future. http://oncubamagazine.com/sports/top-25-prospects-of-cuban-baseball-in-2015/ Only Vladimir Gutierrez was ranked higher at the time. Me likey dat.
  13. Mendoza write-up: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/10/cuban-right-hander-hector-mendoza-to-pursue-mlb-free-agency.html
  14. It actually makes a lot of sense for both parties.
  15. I like it for you. Mejia and his future 70 hit tool are a nice haul. Stewart is a wildcard at the moment, but if he hits enough it won't matter where he plays (even DH). Nice job on getting two quality relievers for one.
  16. Ray is #34 on his list, but it appears that Groome is going to be in Law's top 20.
  17. It would be terribly egregious if he wasn't.
  18. I copied this from another forum. There's a really high probability the poster made that mistake.
  19. It would be great to determine who, of all the prospect scouts and sites, was the most accurate in hindsight. Anyone have an idea on how to best quantify that? NJH? I believe you mentioned this specifically last year around this time. It could be something I implement into the composite prospects rankings in the future.
  20. It could be me, but it seems like Law does a much better job with ranking and scouting hitters than he does pitchers.
  21. This upcoming Saturday evening.
